The fireflies that dance at night,
They are only seen when it's right.
Together, it is bright,
But alone,
It is not.
The little lights that dance at night
Bring joy to my unfortunate sight.
My view of this world is dark,
The bright,
Then dark,
Bright,
Dark,
Bright,
Then dark again.
Like the sun and the moon.
But, that one, little firefly
Is my beacon of hope,
A perfect way to cope
After a hurtful day,
Now turned into a calm sway
Of the wind
And that beacon.
