A Dreamers' Timeless Stories

The Dreamer closes her eyes.
The Dreamer reopens them to see
A world in which, to a certain degree,
She is free.

The Dreamer is powerful,
Everything unknowable is
Left for The Dreamer to imagine,
Left in her unpredictable,
Undetectable fingertips.

The Dreamer is scared.
The Dreamer now does not know
What will happen next.
She is not in control
Or in possession of
The goal.

She is only in control
Over her wakefulness.
For the unfaithfulness of her mind
Is much too hard to handle.

The Dreamer opens her weary eyes,
And she arises from her eerie bed.
Bright rays penetrate her irises,
And she sighs.

Another day in the real, unpredictable world.
