Glaciers

The life of a glacier,
Is the purest form of nature.
A story frozen in grace,
Fallen to endless space.

As rain slides down from the tops of mountains,
Slowly, it transforms,
Into a majestic structure
Of unbreakable ice,
Not caring of the devastating price
It is forced to pay
When the earth warms,
And the sun warns,
Yet the ice stays
Until the bitter end,
Like a dearest friend.

Until the day the earth warms,
The sun shines bright,
And under it's sumptuous light,
The ice sparkles and glimmers like a diamond,
So high!
So bright!

The life of a glacier,
Is the purest form of nature.
A story frozen in grace,
Fallen to endless space.
A breathtaking sight,
Truly, a delight.
A wonder to behold,
A sight untold
With all its stories yet to unfold.
