"Each stations of Hallownest specializes a prominent ability, ours in specific specializes in Healing." Unn said to the people in the temple, "From this day forth, you will learn to Focus and heal your bodies. To harness your inner shell and connect it to your outer."

You sought out this temple in hopes for the crack on your shell to be healed, joining the championships was merely your ticket to get here. Now, they tell you that you were meant to heal yourself? What was the point of it all?

"You can easily acquire this by meditation.."

It's kind of not really a bad idea, learning how to magically heal yourself is a major benefit. However, they are literally implying that you use magic. Can you really learn magic? Do you have it? What are the rules.

"Close your eyes and calm your bodies.."

They're not even gonna teach you the fundamentals of magic. What part of the inner shell are they talking about, anyway? Thoughts? Memory? Your human mind?

...the void?

"Deep breaths... and silence."

You don't breath, nor can you close your eyes. How could you possibly-

"The key is Focus." Unn emphasized, as if she heard your inner turmoil. "Before you heal the body, you must first recognize your inner self."

You imitated what could've been a deep breath, then stared at the blank wall. Focus.

Meditate.

Inner Self.

The Void.

There was also that voice in your head, the one that does not whisper. Yet, you could barely decipher what was said. You mostly ignored it. Maybe you should start there, try to understand what it means to say.

..ive...ough..mem..fus..ves..oid...sou....

This might take a while.

You could only watch enviously as moss bugs learned to heal themselves one by one. It seemed to come naturally for them.

Meanwhile, it's already at the bell ring for rest and you have made no progress.

"Congratulations, you have learned to focus well. Now, you can heal your body through your inner shell." Unn said as she watched the students play with their new power.

You stood up and found yourself infront of a mirror of some sort. The crack on your shell still evidently there.

"You may rest, the Mosskin Knights will show you to your grotto."

"Awesome!"

Students all rushed out of the temple, clearly eager to show off their new ability to their mentor or guardian.

"Do not be discouraged, the moss bugs have always held the affinity for healing. It is well within their nature." Unn directed to you as you began walking to the exit. "The greenery may very well be the source of their energy. You, my dear, will need to find one for yourself. Whatever it may be."

Is the Void not enough energy to fuel your healing magic? You wonder.

You didn't make an effort to ask that question, resorting to a simple nod before you exit the temple.

A familiar bugs from earlier was waiting outside. Mosskin Knights. So, that was what they were called.

They led you towards what seemed like a dead end wall at first glance, covered in bush and vines, that was until the Mosskin Knight disappeared into the vines. Going through the hidden entrance, it revealed a short dim tunnel. But true to Greenpath's personality, there was always light at the end of the tunnel.
