Summary: Leon takes Claire on a dinner date.

Status of their relationship in this one shot: Dating.

Leon looked at himself in the mirror, touching up on his hair and suit, making sure he wasn't looking like a fool. He also tried to not get to dressed up, it wasn't like it was some formal event. It was only a date. Then again, they were going to be attending a nice restaurant, so maybe he was dressed up perfectly.

Today, Leon is taking his new partner, Claire, out to eat. They've been friends for quite some time now, and he had finally pooped the question of asking her out. When Claire had said yes, Leon remembers how good he felt, as if he could accomplish absolutely anything. They have been dating for about two weeks now, and when he asked her on a date, he couldn't of felt more joy.

Despite the hardships Leon faces in life, and how tough his job can be, he always wanted someone he could keep close to him. Someone to love as much as he loved them. It's genuinely difficult to find somebody whilst working in such a busy line of work.

Wandering towards the front door, he opened it and went outside his apartment, walking down the narrow hallway, making his way to the staircase. Their date started at 7 pm and it's currently 6:20 so Leon definitely has time to get to her place, then their destination.

He wasn't particularly nervous about the date or anything, rather just highly anticipating it. Leon barley gets time off to do anything personal so this meant a lot to him, especially since it was with Claire, and he really likes Claire. Love is probably to strong to use for now, eventually though. Eventually...

Stepping out of the complex, Leon took in the outside air. It was perfect out. Not to hot, not to cold. The sun was still up as well, which was highly beneficial, he had hoped it'd be up by the time he'd arrive at her place. Unlike Leon, Claire does live in an actual house. It's small but just what she wanted. Besides, it's not like she's living with anyone, therefore, no need for to much extra space.

Pulling out his keys from his suit pocket, Leon clicked the unlock button, hearing his car making a sort of shifting noise in the distance. Leon doesn't tend to brag, but he does drive a pretty expensive car. Courtesy of his job, which pays extremely well.

Getting into his car, Leon turned it on and let out a deep breath, not moving for a second. It had been a long day, and seeing Claire was all he wanted right now. He buckled up and pressed his foot down on the gas, pulling out of the parking lot, and driving into the busy streets.

Late in the day, especially near The White House, the roads were insanely packed. People were driving home from work, from extracurricular activities or running last minute errands. For Leon though, he's just going to see his girl. He had also hoped that the restaurant wouldn't be super busy, like the streets are. It'd be romantic if it was partly empty, it'd feel like the two have the place to themselves.

The sunshine was so alluring and was perfect for tonight. Claire was a big fan of the summertime - nature, the sun, the water, she loves it all, so Leon hoped she'd be happy with the result of today's weather with their ongoing date.

Leon tapped his steering wheel lightly as music played in the background, it was mostly out of habit, he's been doing it for years. He was getting closer to Claire's place, it was around 6:40 now, 20 minutes had passed, so she should be already set to go when he arrives. He wondered how'd she look. No matter what, she was beautiful, but he was just curious as to how her hair would look, or what she'd be wearing.
