It's already been two days since the incident. Taehyung has been taking a break from school, though he probably has to go soon since the school doesn't allow too much absence.

Taehyung hasn't seen or heard from Jungkook since then. Jimin would tell him how Jungkook isn't himself when he comes back after his classes.

At first, Jimin insisted on staying with Taehyung to make sure he'll be okay these few days, but the latter assured him that he'll be fine and it's better if Jimin doesn't miss anything at school.

Taehyung feels a little sad about the fact that Jungkook doesn't want to see him, but he can't blame anyone but himself. He understands where the younger's coming from.

"Ugh. School is so boring without you." Jimin whines as he enters the dorm room, throwing his backpack on his bed.

Taheyung cracks a smile. "You better get used to it."

"Shut up you suicidal bitch," Jimin says playfully throwing his jacket on Taehyung.

Taehyung laughs a little. "I'm being serious. I told you, I'm not gonna be here forever."

"Why are you smiling?" It's Jimin's shirt's time to be thrown at Taehyung. "You're not going anywhere. When I die, you can die."

Taehyung sighs. He can't have one serious conversation with Jimin. "Hyung,"

Jimin looks at him. There's a look in Taehyung's eyes. There's something about the way he called him hyung.

"Tae,"

"I'm going to die soon,"

"No, you're not."

"Jimin--"

"Taehyung. Why are you thinking so much about death?" Jimin looks at him with teary eyes.

"Because, I have to prepare you for it. Do you think I'll be so lucky to be one of the few people who survived this?" Taehyung pats the bed beside him, telling Jimin to come sit next to him.

Jimin takes a few steps closer to Taehyung, but he doesn't sit down. "Why are you thinking so negativity? You wont survive if you dont try." He frowns.

"I'm just being realistic,"

"Taehyung, you're hurting me."

"I know,"

"Taehyung,"

"You'll be way closer to Jungkook,"

"Taehyung,"

"You won't even notice that I'm gone,"

"Tae-"

"You'll make a lot of new friends. Oh, and Yoongi. You two will be friends, right? If you do end up together, I called it."

"Stop,"

"Jimin," Taehyung says, looking straight into Jimin's teary eyes. "It's not something I can control. I tried-"

"What did you try? You didn't try anything! You didn't think a second about getting treatment. You didn't think twice before deciding to eat food you know will make your condition worse. You can control it, Taehyung. But you chose not to. You can try to get better. If not for you, do it for us. For everyone that loves you. For your mom, your dad, your brother. For me. For Jungkook. Do it for Jungkook, Taehyung."

"Jimin--"

"You can't just give up. You're stronger than this, okay? This is not the Taehyung I know. This is not the Taehyung that helped me overcome my eating disorders. This is not the real you. Why are you giving up on yourself?" Jimin has tears strorming down his face. His voice shakes, and so does his hands.

There's is silence.

"I'm sorry," Jimin suddenly says, making Taehyung look up at him.

"I'm sorry I wasn't here for you. I should've been a better friend. I'm sorry I didn't realize you were eating food that you should be avoiding. I'm sorry I didn't wake you up that day, okay? I'm sorry. But you should've told me, Taheyung. You should've told me that you weren't okay. Instead, you lied and said you were fine. Me and Jungkook thought it was getting better. Because you said you felt better. Its been two years. How would we know its not getting better?" Jimin stops to take a breath. "I'm sorry for not being there for you, but you should've told me something. I can't be the only one trying here,"

Taehyung stays silent, tears streaming quietly down his face.

"Why, Taehyung? Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because you were preoccupied with your own problems. You had the whole Yoongi situation, and--"

"Nothing can occupy me from my best friend. Even my own problems." Jimin interrupts. "You saying that you didn't tell me because the Yoongi situation really makes me feel like a shitty friend. I feel guilty, Taehyung. I feel guilty that I wasn't there for you because I envy Min Yoongi. You know how bizarre that sounds? You know how bad that makes me feel? I feel horrible,"

"Don't, Jimin. I should've told you,"

"You should've. And I should've paid attention to my best friend. I should've noticed he wasn't okay. I'm so blind I didn't even realize how much weight you lost. Look at you," Jimin points at Taehyung.

Taehyung's first instict was to cover his body. He pulls the blanket and the way up to his neck, wiping away his tears.

"God, Taehyung. I'll never forgive myself for that," He says, fully breaking down on the floor.

Tarhyung doesn't waste a second in getting up and kneeling down next to Jimin, wrapping his arms around him.

"Hyung, you did nothing wrong. Stop blaming yourself for my sickness." He sniffs.

"Taehyung, promise me that you'll try to get better. Promise me that we'll graduate together. Maybe then, I'll stop blaming myself."

It takes about a minute for Taehyung to answer. A minute of Jimin crying his eyes out. A minute of Taehyung rubbing circles on Jimin's back. A minute of Taehyung fighting his own thoughts.

It takes Taehyung everything to say something back.

"I promise,"
