"What's up with all of this?" Jimin whispers to Taehyung, his eyes darting around the room as he notices people whispering and pointing in his direction.
"All of what?" Taehyung replies, looking at his friend with confusion.
"The attention." Jimin's heart races, his mind pondering the sudden attention he's receiving. It's strange because he's never been that well-known around school. But now, it seems like everyone's eyes are on him.
He can't deny that a part of him secretly enjoys the attention. Deep down, he's always dreamt of being popular, adored, and admired by his peers. It's like a validation of his worth, a confirmation that he's finally becoming the person he's always wanted to be.
He knows it's probably because of what happened yesterday. And even though a part of him is embarrassed, he can't help but feel valid.
Maybe what they're talking about isn't that bad.The school barely has any bullying, so when someone gets shoved on the floor, of course, that's what's going to be on everyone's tongue.
As he anxiously glances at the crowd, Jimin notices Taehyung mumbling under his breath, "Oh, the attention is on you. I thought they noticed I trimmed my hair."
Jimin can't help but chuckle at Taehyung's comment, appreciating his friend's attempt to lighten the situation. He playfully ruffles Taehyung's hair, a small gesture to show his gratitude. "I don't think they even know your name, Tae," he says with a lopsided smile. "By the way, what did Jungkook think of your new haircut?"
Taehyung blushes, a warm flush spreading across his cheeks, and shrugs. "I haven't seen him yet."
Jimin grins mischievously. "Well, you better tell me what he thinks of it when he sees you! Now, I've got dance practice. See you at lunch!"
With that, Jimin swiftly turns on his heels and heads towards the dance studio, leaving Taehyung behind, both amused and curious.

The only thing that keeps Jimin from turning around and never coming back is his unwavering love for dancing and the need to practice more. But deep down, he is seriously contemplating fleeing the scene.
In the corner of the dance room, Hoseok, the person Jimin dreams of surpassing in dance, stands alongside Yoongi, who happens to be Hoseok's best friend. This sight is something Jimin is quite accustomed to, considering Hoseok always accompanies him in their dance sessions.
But there, next to Hoseok, is Min Yoongi, Jimin's arch nemesis, or at least that's the term he exaggerates with. Truth be told, Jimin seriously hates Yoongi, which is rather odd because, if Jimin were to harbor any negative feelings towards someone, it would make more sense if it were Hoseok, his direct competition.
But Yoongi, well, he just ignites an indescribable rage within Jimin, a fiery passion that makes him contemplate drastic measures. Jimin finds himself unable to tear his gaze away from Yoongi, his jaw practically scraping the floor. Hoseok must have said something funny, because Yoongi is laughing, leaning back, and flashing that addictive gummy smile.
Jimin would willingly go out of his way just to make Yoongi smile, as if it were some kind of personal quest. And don't even get him started on that perfectly soft-looking hair that makes Jimin uncontrollably desire to run his fingers through it. The constant comparisons Jimin makes between himself and Yoongi only fuels his insecurity about his looks and body. Anything in close proximity to Yoongi is instantly rendered awful in Jimin's eyes. That's precisely why he never wants to be seen alongside him.
How can Yoongi be so infuriatingly perfect? It's beyond Jimin's comprehension. How dare Yoongi exude such flawlessness? Jimin despises him to the core. Why isn't he the one deemed perfect, pretty, and adored by all?
Suddenly, a voice interrupts Jimin's internal turmoil, calling out his name. Everyone in the room shifts their attention towards him, including Yoongi, who Jimin swears he caught smirking in his direction. Flustered, Jimin turns his gaze back to the source of the voice, his teacher, and forces a weak nod of acknowledgment. He then proceeds to set down his bag and stretches, mentally preparing himself for the class ahead.
Unable to resist, Jimin steals a few more glances at Yoongi, the emotions inside him swirling in a confusing mix of resentment, fascination, and envy.
Taehyung is going to hear all about this.
