"What the hell are you doing?"

Taehyung and Jimin became friends when they were assigned to be roommates.

"I'm practicing my jabs, as you can see." Jimin states as if it's the most obvious thing, carrying on horribly punching the air, throwing another wild punch that almost sends him toppling over.

"You should ask Jungkook to teach you if you're that desperate." Taehyung has a look of concern that almost melts into disgust as he watches Jimin's lack of coordination.

Jungkook and Taehyung were friends since elementary school, and of course, Taehyung introduced Jungkook to Jimin about two years ago.

They were inseparable. The three of them were like the three musketeers.

"Fuck that bitch! He's roommates with Yoongi." Jimin grumbles, his face contorting with annoyance.

Well, except the fact that Jungkook's roommate happens to be Jimin's arch nemesis.

Taehyung rolls his eyes, having heard this complaint multiple times before. "Yoongi's never done anything to you, man," he reminds Jimin, his patience wearing thin.

Jimin stumbles and falls on the ground with a thud. Before Taehyung can give him a hand, he's already dusting himself off and crossing his arms on his chest.

Jimin does that when he tries to prove a point, Taehyung learned.

"I'm telling you, he did this time!" Jimin insists, jabbing his finger in the air accusingly.

Taehyung sighs and plops down on his bed, bracing himself for another pointless argument. "Oh yeah? I'm listening," he says, covering his ears to feign disinterest.

"I saw his friend in the hallway today, Namjoon or whatever, and he literally pushed me! Like, Yoongi definitely told him to do that."

Despite Taehyung's attempts to muffle Jimin's voice, he is unsuccessful; Jimin's voice is loud as fuck. He wouldn't be surprised if other students passing by their room have heard.

"Well, what about Hoseok? He's been following me around all day! I swear Yoongi must've ordered him to poison me or something. And Seokjin! He threatened me at lunch. The whole damn friend group is out to get me because of Yoongi, mark my words."

Taehyung inwardly groans, wishing Jimin would just let it go. He can't comprehend his friend's obsession with Yoongi's friend group.

"Hoseok has the same dance classes as you, Jimin. That's why he's around you. And Seokjin just wanted you to move because you were standing on his phone. But you kept staring at him, so he had to lift your shoes to get it," Taehyung explains, exasperated.

"You're such a hater, Tae. You know that?" Jimin sighs in defeat, sitting next to Taehyung in his small bed.

"C'mon, Hyung, we've been in the same school as Yoongi for years. You've known him for longer than you've known me. Why would he hate you now?" The younger one tries to reason with Jimin.

Jimin mumbles, rubbing his eyes, "Feels like yesterday."

"Hm?"

"I mean, it doesn't feel like we've known him for that long. It feels like yesterday. I don't know anything about him-" his sentence gets cut off by a tired yawn. Taehyung cracks a smile and wraps his arms around Jimin's shoulder.

"Then use this opportunity to make a new friend. You could be best buds! Even closer than me and you. I'm not staying forever, you know."

Jimin playfully launches a weak punch to Taehyung's chest. "Shut up." His words slurred due to sleep taking over him. Taehyung giggles at that.

"Sometimes I don't understand you, Jimin." He stands up from the bed and covers Jimin with his own blanket, then makes his way to the opposite side of the room, preparing to sleep in Jimin's bed since he has no interest in waking up the older.

And maybe because he doesn't have the heart to.
