It's Taehyung.

For a moment, Yoongi can't believe what he's seeing. Taehyung, the person he thought he lost years ago to leukemia, is standing in front of him, alive and well. But there's something different about him. The man in front of Yoongi is healthier, more muscular, and radiates a vitality that Yoongi never thought he'd see again. His skin glows with a warmth that contrasts sharply with the pale, sickly boy Yoongi remembers, his hair is bright red, and there's something about his whole aura. This can't be right. Yoongi's mind struggles to process the sight in front of him, and for a second, he's convinced he's rung the wrong doorbell once again.

Taehyung is alive. It feels impossible, surreal, like something out of a dream or a nightmare where the dead walk among the living. Yoongi's eyes widen further, his heartbeat pounding in his ears, and he feels a rush of emotions so intense that it leaves him dizzy. The last time he saw Taehyung, he was a shadow of his former self, frail and sickly, fading away with every passing day. But now, here he is, standing strong and healthy, looking like he's never been sick a day in his life. Yoongi can't find the words, can't even begin to comprehend what's happening. His lips part, but no sound comes out. Instead, tears well up in his eyes, blurring his vision. Taehyung blinks, seeming just as surprised to see Yoongi. For a moment, he doesn't move, his eyes scanning Yoongi's face as if trying to make sense of what he's seeing. Then, slowly, a smile spreads across Taehyung's lips, warm and full of life. "Yoongi?" he says, his voice soft, almost disbelieving.

Yoongi's breath hitches at the sound of his name. "I'm sorry I couldn't keep your promise," is the first thing he finds himself saying, his mind reeling from the shock. How is this possible? How is Taehyung alive? It feels like a cruel trick of the universe, like something out of a twisted fairy tale. Yoongi's hands tremble, and he struggles to hold back the tears that threaten to spill over. But when Taehyung steps aside, revealing what—or rather, who—lies beyond the doorframe, Yoongi's world comes crashing down around him.

Jimin.

And he's now ginger for some reason.

The air leaves Yoongi's lungs, and he stumbles back, the weight of everything he's been carrying for the past six years crashing down on him all at once. Jimin is standing there, looking just as shocked as Yoongi feels. Their eyes lock, and in that moment, the years melt away. All the pain, all the heartache, all the memories they've buried come rushing back with a force that nearly knocks Yoongi off his feet. He can't hold back the tears any longer, and they spill down his cheeks as he sinks to his knees, his legs giving out beneath him.

Jimin isn't faring much better. The moment their eyes met, it's as if something inside him snapped. All the walls he's built up over the years, all the anger and resentment he's harbored, come crumbling down. For a long time, neither of them says a word. They just sit there, both of them crying as the memories of their high school days flood their minds. Yoongi remembers every moment he spent trying to get closer to Jimin, every smile he gave him, every kind word. And he remembers how Jimin rejected him, pushed him away with harsh words and cold stares. But Yoongi never gave up. He kept trying, kept reaching out, even though it hurt more than anything to be reminded every day that Jimin hated him.

But now, as they sit there in silence, Yoongi can see the truth in Jimin's eyes. He was never really hated. As these realizations crash down on both of them, the pain becomes almost unbearable. Yoongi's heart aches with the intensity of it, and he can see that Jimin is feeling the same way. The emotional turmoil of their past is too much to bear, and it leaves them both shattered, sobbing on the floor of a stranger's apartment. Through it all, Taehyung stands off to the side, watching them with an amused smile. The scene is so raw, so emotional, that it's almost comical in its intensity. Jimin is bawling his eyes out to a guy he'd swear he hated with all his heart. This would be great blackmail for later. He pulls out his phone, unable to resist capturing the moment, and starts filming the two of them—Jimin standing, Yoongi on the floor, both of them crying their hearts out. Taehyung's giggles fill the silence, a stark contrast to the heavy emotions hanging in the air.
