Jimin can't lie. He can barely walk with his hurting ankle, so why not sit down for a bit? Yes, Yoongi is here, but he is exhausted beyond imagination and doesn't even want to think about how he's going to walk back to his room alone.

He doesn't speak but complies nonetheless. Yoongi sits next to him, their backs against the wall.

Now that they're this close, Yoongi can't help but look at Jimin's face. He looks tired, exhausted. But beautiful. His cheeks are puffy from crying. It's like he's been crying all day.

"Stop looking at me. It makes me mad." Jimin mumbles, looking down at his lap.

"Why?"

"Why are you looking at me in the first place?" Jimin snaps back, starting to get angry.

"If you were in my place, you wouldn't be able to look away too."

Jimin almost chokes. His eyes widen, and he finally makes eye contact with Yoongi. The latter doesn't seem shy the tiniest bit. It's like he means what he said. But Jimin knows it's not true, he knows. Who would want to look at him that long.

No, seriously, he's starting to feel more insecure with Yoongi's eyes on him. What if Yoongi finally realizes how ugly he is compared to him? Jimin doesn't want that.

Not thinking much about what he's going to do, his intrusive thoughts win. He places his hand on Yoongis face and pushes him softly. As of telling him to look away, but a little more rudely.

"I'm supposed to hate you," Jimin mumbles, looking ahead.

"You never told me why," Yoongi surprises Jimin with his answer.

"Do I need a reason?" It's really getting to Jimin. If Yoongi says one more thing, he is going to commit a crime.

"Fair enough." Yoongi retorts, not really thinking it's fair, though.

"Why are you here?" Jimin asks, not the slightest bit of 'nice' lacing his tone.

"C'mon, can't we at least talk?"

"If you want to be an arson victim, you can start talking." Jimin says, leaving Yoongi speechless.

After a moment of Yoongi wondering if Jimin is joking or not, he clears his throat. "I'm gonna assume you're kidding. Give me a chance. You may not regret it." Yoongi speaks sincerely, and Jimin feels his sincerity through his voice.

But there's so much Yoongi doesn't know. He doesn't know how much Jimin wishes he was him. He doesn't know that Jimin dreams about him every day. He doesn't know that he's the reason Jimin is so insecure. He doesn't know that he's so jealous of him because he has got to major something he actually likes and is good at.

Yoongi doesn't know that Jimin spends every second comparing himself to him. He doesn't know the real Jimin yet. Maybe if he knew everything, he wouldn't be that eager to talk to him anymore.

Jimin believes that everyone deserves a chance, but he's saving Yoongi disappointment. Is he really the bad guy then?

Is it so bad to envy someone this much?

"Okay then. Talk. Say what you have to say." Jimin only realizes he's crying when he sees Yoongi's expression. He looks sad but also pitiful.

But why would Yoongi feel sad about Jimin crying? It doesn't make sense. Why does yoongi care so much? Jimin hates it. He hates Yoongi so much. Why does he have to be even more perfect? He wants to punch him square in the face, but he also wants to hug him and keep him to himself forever. He wants to burn him alive, but he also wants to tie a bow around his body and hide him under a Christmas tree.

Why is he so complicated?

"I don't want to talk, Jimin. I want you to talk." Yoongi looks genuine, Jimin hates it. Yoongi looks like he actually cares, Jimin despises it. "I want you to take it off your chest. I know something is happening, and you can't deal with it alone. I just want to help."

Jimin wants to stab him to death. Why does he care so much?! Why would seomone like him even approach Jimin? No matter how much he tries to, he just can't understand why.
