As the days drawn on Beau became tense. This could be war soon or a new start for everyone. Beau believed his father was a pure and humble King. He was set on doing whatever it took to protect the kingdom as his father did.
A knock on the door startles Beau's deep trance he found himself in. Pondering on the whats to come.
"Who is it?" Beau asked before opening. Father always said never just open a door.
"Prince Beau it's Sergeant Tanner"
The Sergeant spoke.
Beau opened the door without delay.
"Your father has requested you. The messenger has returned with a response from Ringuard's king. " The Sergeant informed.
"Shall we go then." Beau said walking out down the hall.
As he approached he heard orders of food going out. Planning of a feast and talk of music. Beau entered the door way to his father's Chamber which was opened for him when he was sent for.
"Ah come in son! Good news. Ringuard's King Tolkien has agreed to enjoy a night of festival with our courts."
King Montgomery said patting Beau's shoulder.
"What does that mean did he accept our offer?" Beau asked.
"He addressed this is for festivities and getting to know one another. He said the future is unclear. He will bring his wife and daughter. Along with royal court. It's a start son. A start for peace between nations. And who doesn't like a good time? Your mother would've loved this if the drink hadn't consumed her." The Kings voice trailed off.
Chancellor Bilbo then said. "Prince Beau they will be coming in two days. Be prepared for anything sharpen your sword and hide your dagger. We are here for peace but we are not weak."
King Montgomery stood facing out his window nodding in agreement.
"I'm going to do that Bilbo. Thanks." Beau said shaking the Chancellors hand and walking out.
"May it just be a festival." Beau thought to himself as he walked to the armory.
