Narnia Flicker S1 B1-6

Chapter 69

When the morning hours came around Thomas returned. Beau went speak with him to learn what his father wanted to do.

"The news Thomas?" Asked Beau lighting up a cigarette.

"We set for battle. More troops will arrive this time today. The time to act is now." Replied Thomas.

Just then a flaming arrow flew into one of the tower guards. The man fell from the tower hitting the ground like a rock.

"That time is now." Said Beau.

Beau assembled the troops and sent them to the Beruna battlefield. Thomas leading them. Beau would wait for the other troops then they would attack. Ariana walked out the tent seeing the troops moving out. Walking over to Beau she took his hand.

"You must go back to the castle. Your safe there." Said Beau.

"It requires both of us. I will not leave you." Replied Ariana.

Nodding Beau then gave her a hug. The war was finally here and all of Narnia relied upon them. Aslan was back behind the door and watched with the Kings and Queens of old through a portal.

As it reached later in the morning the troops arrived. Beau led them to Beruna where everyone got into positions. Azurite and Ariana stayed on a mountain side watching. She promised Beau she would not take any action until he signals her.

Across the battle field you could see Tolkien and his army. The air was clear and crisp as Beau stared down Tolkien. Tolkien drew his sword and began marching forward with his army. Beau drew his sword and pointed it forward. This signaling a platoon of gryphons with rocks to drop before they collided.

Tolkien was prepared and had catapults ready sending most of the gryphons into the ground. Some managed to take out Tolkien's soldiers and return. Looking at Ariana from his horse Beau mouthed I love you. Turning to his right was Thomas nodding to him it was time.

Raising his sword in the air once more Beau shouted. "For Narnia and for Aslan!"

"For Narnia and for Aslan!" Yelled back his army.
