Moving further into the cave they noticed writing on the walls. Pictures of the past. The hieroglyphics lines on the wall seemed to lead them in a certain direction.Reaching the end the fire faded and stopped before a large opening.
Getting closer to an opening they heard a low growl.
Drawing there weapons they inched forward.
"I hunger.. I thirst..." Said the deep growling voice.
"Then show yourself." Stated Beau loudly.
"What you seek we are meant to show you."
Replied the voice.
Then more fire lit up the surrounding room. Seen in front of the stone table A goblin stood next to a were wolf.
"Come see the truth." Said the goblin.
Ariana and Beau inched forward slowly with caution. As they approached the goblin took out an old broken wand.
"Draw the circle." Said the werewolf.
The goblin began chanting in an unknown language as she drew a circle around them. Her chant was beautiful even if they both didn't understand the language.
Then a wall of thick ice rose out of the ground. They both stood ready for action. They ice began to show a memory.
The picture showed King Tolkien plotting against his own father for the crown. Hiring a man dressed in black robes holding a wand existences his hand and took the money.
The man then murdered Ariana's grandfather King Tolkien the 5th. With a flick of his wand the man in black robes sent a ball of darkness on the unsuspecting King.
Knocking him thousands of stories to the ground. Betrayed by his own blood. By hired dark magic. His own son.
Ariana stood in disgust and rage she wanted to see no more this she understood. Beau watched in confusion as he would never betray his own flesh in that way. His hate for King Tolkien grew beyond comprehension. The alcohol only fueled his rage.
"Incendio!" Shouted Ariana. Sending a ball of fire into the ice shattering it. Ice pieces flew all over they both ducked.
Looking around the goblin and werewolf disappeared. Ariana took the broken wand out of the ground and placed it in her jacket.
"I understand how truly evil my father is. He must be destroyed." Said Ariana.
"We will love in time I will run my blade through him for our son for the people." Replied Beau hugging her.
"We best get back now I'm sure they are worried for us." Ariana said.
"Aye." Replied Beau.
