Narnia Flicker S1 B1-6

Chapter 25

As Beau and Ariana followed Aslan through the Wild Lands of The North the air grew colder. Winter was coming and they had been traveling for over two weeks. Aslan wanted them deep in the woods till the baby was born. King Tolkien along with the Prince of Slytharian had armies searching for Ariana and if it was known she was pregnant Beau would never see her or his child.

As they approached the camp Aslan showed them the cabin he had for them. It was small and cozy, tucked in a circle of tress between two boulders. The boulders formed a cave on top in which Aslan stayed.

As they arrived Beau jumped off his horse and then helped Ariana down from hers. Beau tied the horses underneath the thick trees giving them enough lead to roam and eat.

"Thankyou Aslan for everything your doing for us sir." Beau said as he opened the cabin's door.

"Yes Thankyou King Aslan." Ariana said.

"You are welcome I shall leave you both now to attend to matters in the kingdom. King Montgomery needs council as war is coming in time. I will be bringing back a maiden for Ariana when I return to help with the child. Beau you must stay alert I shall bring back news from your father." Aslan said looking at Beau then Ariana with a soft smile. His voice was deep and trusting.

Ariana and Beau both bowed and watched as the mighty lion disappeared beyond the tree line. The cabin was fully stocked with all they needed and warm. As fire was already lit as if by magic. Ariana began preparing a stew pot to keep them fed for days to come.

Beau sat down in a chair by the fire and watched as Ariana cooked. His everything was right before his eyes. Nothing mattered as long as he was with her and he would do anything to keep their family safe.

After they ate Ariana and Beau went into bed and held one another. Both exhausted from the journey they both endured but at peace being in each-other's arms they fell asleep.
