As Beau returned to the horses he saw Grayson landing. The gryphon dove toward the spot where he let Beau off. The men nodded to their gryphons and they flew off into the distance.
"Let's get back double time and talk when we return in privacy." Beau said jumping onto his horse.
Grayson nodded and they both strode off toward home.
As they approached the castle it was quiet . They slowly made their way to the barn unsaddling their horses.
They made their way to the armory un noticed as they did when they were young to sneak off and drink ale.
"What a night, before we start I say we deserve a drink here now." Grayson said pulling out a bottle of whiskey from behind the bar.
"I agree let's we have things to discuss. So let's not get to gone." Beau replied as he grabbed two chalices from a cupboard.
Grayson walked over and poured each a chalice full. (A half pint each fills one chalice.) Sitting down across from Beau they toasted to the night they each had. Knowing they were both in deep now.
"We must come up with a way to free Ariana's people. To free them all. To free Jenna." Beau said breaking the silence.
"We will my friend. It is the prophecy for you and Ariana to rule." Grayson said putting down his chalice.
"I think it's a prophecy for Jenna and you as well. Not just us. It is clear you are in this with us. Both of you. Everyone's freedom and happiness is destined. I will give my last breath to make it so." Replied Beau.
Grayson looked up and said. "And I shall fight with you future King. I am honored to be in your court. We will free them or die trying."
"Let us raise our glass once again this time for Ariana, Jenna and there safety. For Aslan's blessing on this journey." Beau said raising his chalice once more.
"For our women and the journey. For Aslan!" Grayson said raising his chalice to Beau's.
"I will have a talk with my father in the near days before we visit them again. I wish you a night friend." Beau said finishing his drink. Putting the chalice down he shook Grayson's hand and walked back to his chambers.
