"Mom, dad!" Yelled Tristan running to Beau and Ariana.
"My boy." Ariana said kneeling hugging Tristan.
"Hey there bud here for a couple days what shall we do first?!" Beau said patting Tristan on the head.
The next four days the family spent time together. Beau gave Tristan the dagger and explained how important it was to be safe with the blade. The day they left back to the tower was a sad one. Tristan was told by Beau no tears they would be back soon. Thomas gave Elma a kiss and whipped her tears. Taking off on there Gryphons it was bittersweet.
They waved to Tristan, Elma and General Samson and disappeared into the thick fog. Ariana had put a protection spell around the camp to remain undetected. Returning to the tower everything was quiet as it was now night.
King Montgomery was still awake when they entered the tower. He had a cough now that seemed to worsen everyday. Handing over the dragon egg Beau noticed his father was becoming weaker.
Beau took his father said and begged him to return back to the castle. Beau assured his father now that he was 22 he could take charge of this position. King Montgomery agreed and went back to the castle where he would remain in his illness for some time.
