As they made their way inside applause rang out from the Narnians. They too only wished peace. King Tolkien led them to the dinner table. It was a long royal table to fit two nations court. King Montgomery made a point to have two head of tables, himself and King Tolkien to show equality.
"A toast to our guests!" King Montgomery said raising his glass.
"A toast!" King Tolkien responded raising his.
The two kings looked at each other in a stern way as to say there time to talk will come later. Not tonight. Tonight is off limits.
Beau and Ariana's eyes met as they lowered their chalices. A cosmic infusion in their energies connected again by a single glance. Beau had never felt this way before. Ariana feeling the same.
As the dinner was finished they made there way to the ball room. Where music was already playing awaiting there arrival. Servers walking around with glasses filled with beer and various liquor. People laughing and enjoying each other.
Beau's mind was put at ease but he kept away from being intoxicated. His father taught him how to enjoy liquor without forgetting the purpose of the occasion.
As the event went on into the night Beau thought of a way to speak with Ariana. He was pushed by the pull of her eyes alone. They're energies bouncing off one another. Ariana stood laughing with a hand maiden enjoying herself. She to awaiting to speak with Beau.
Beau finally finding her as she was distracted by her conversation.
"It's either now or probably never again." Beau thought to himself. As he approached her King Tolkien stepped in front.
"Prince Beau, I must let you know as a father it's my duty to say, educate you. I watch my daughter closely. She's promised to a man in Slytharian. Hope you both can find friendship only tonight in one another." King Tolkien said as he placed his hand out once more to Beau.
"I understand sir." Beau replied.
As Beau shook his hand he felt Tolkien tighten his grip. King Tolkien then patted Beau on his shoulder and stepped away to his wife. Beau wasn't interested in anything other than a conversation and her energy.
Beau walked up to Ariana with a smile. The maiden rushing off as she too could feel there cosmic force.
