Tristan woke up and began to cry as soon as the sun peeked through the curtains. Beau walked over and picked him up. Walking him over to Ariana to nurse. Ariana put on her robe and sat in the rocking chair taking Tristan from Beau.
"I'll be back with some breakfast while you feed him." Said Beau putting on his shirt then his brown leather light armor.
"Thankyou my love." Ariana replied as she began nursing.
As Beau walked out of his room he nodded to the guards who then stood back in front the door. It was still very early in the morning around 4:00 am. Beau and Ariana always awoke to Tristan as he seemed to want to eat at early hours.
Beau walked over to the dining hall. King Montgomery was there having his breakfast reading a paper from town.
"Yes please some eggs bacon and fresh toast. Thankyou. " Beau said to the chef in the kitchen.
"Ah son welcome home again come sit while you wait. Talk to me my boy. " king Montgomery said waving his son over.
Beau walked over and sat across from his father. A maiden came with coffee which Beau happily took some.
"Father I will be having a duel with Tolkien. To the death.... I don't expect there not to be a war. If I die can you please..." Beau said and interrupted by King Montgomery.
"There will be war but you shall have no death. This is a new Narnia. Aslan is gone back behind the door. It's up to us now to defend it. Blood will be shed but nothing will harm your family. Here comes your breakfast. Go enjoy the golden time you've been given. We can address matters tomorrow. Enjoy today." Said King Montgomery then having a sip of his coffee.
"Yes sir." Beau replied then taking the tray of food from the maiden.
Thanking her he walked back to his chambers. Walking in he set the food tray down at the table and set the plates down. Ariana walked over holding Tristan. Beau and Ariana ate and drank the fresh milk enjoying there peace.
"I say you and I go for a nice walk in the garden. Where we first talked. Elma can watch Tristan just you and me." Ariana said.
"Sounds like a grand idea. It's been months since I've been to the garden. We must have a picnic by the pond also!" Replied Beau.
