Beau walked up the path to where they had left the horses. Getting on his white and grey stallion he guided the other with a rope. By the time he has returned Thomas had already finished skinning the deer.
"Not just baker a true hunter as well my friend." Said Beau getting off his horse.
"If only it were so plentiful near the castle I'd be in business let's load up and get going." Replied Thomas losing up the meat.
Once the men were done they strode off toward the camp. They used only on trail made by Aslan that went into the most beautiful meadow.
Beau and Ariana would have dates there in the warmer weather. Beau thought of that as they headed back.
When they returned Ariana and Elma were sitting by the fire having tea. A stew pot was hanging awaiting there arrival.
"We brought meat for the winter!" Thomas said happily as he walked in the door holding a nap sack of fresh meat.
"All thanks to Thomas for getting this one we are set!" Beau said laughing.
"This stew pot has been in need of fresh meat come Thomas let's go prep this for cooking and jerky." Elma said getting up and putting her cup in the sink. She grabbed some supplies from the drawer and put them in her apron.
"Of course my dear right this way." Said Thomas opening the door and following behind her with the nap sack.
