Back at the camp Beau sent word it his father of the slain platoon. Thomas was sent as he would be able to spend time with Elma as well. By now the camp site was full of tents and the tower had become a look out point. Beau stayed inside a tent Ariana had casted and was bigger inside than out.
As the sun went down Ariana took Azurite to the camp to visit with Beau. Tristan was back at the castle. Thomas would spend the night visiting Elma and return at dawn after receiving King Montgomery's response.
Beau sat in front the campfire as Ariana tended to Azurite. Making sure the dragon was comfortable and fed. Beau pulled out some whisky and began drinking a shot. Ariana walked over and sat down next to him and began rubbing his back.
"Tolkien slayed a whole platoon of fawns today. Was a bloody mess. I cannot let this happen again. I can't just sit here and wait any longer. Just waiting on word from my father before this war hits Beruna." Said Beau taking another sip.
"I'll be here to fight with you. We are all here. Your not in this alone we will get justice for all the lives he's destroyed. Everyone stands with you Beau." Replied Ariana kissing his cheek then walked into the tent.
Beau followed as he was ready for bed closing the tent behind him. Guards took positions out front. Azurite sleeping hearing everything around her kept watch .
Taking off her coat Ariana took a book from her back pack and slid into the bed. The book was called "The Deep Magic" telling of Aslan's powers and guidance. Beau got into bed while Ariana read him some of the book as he held onto her falling asleep. Ariana eventually went to sleep as she had been into her studies of magic.
