Ch 37 A Mother Meets Death ⚠️

Having finally relaxed some of your aching muscles, you are carried down to the kitchen by Ran, as you walk in your brother looks at you his expression is complicated, you look at him asking the question with your eyes he sighs and says "I am between a brothers over protective instincts and a I am happy for my sister feeling? I will get over it" as Ran sits with you on his lap.

Sanzu walks in and asks "which one is winning? Cause I gotta know if we have to run?" Mikey glares at him and says "happy" with a sigh, you took a sip of your tea when Ko shouted "wait did those three animal ravage you all together last night when it was your first time?" you choke on your drink, Ran patted your back, Mikey twitched and grimaced, Cho, Take and Mochi gasped, Sanzu and Rin wore a disgusted look while looking at him.

Cathing your breath you looked at him and stated "Ko, do you honestly think I would be in any state to leave the bed if that happened?" he jerked then said "sorry, was over thinking it" you giggled and said "thanks for caring Ko" he smiled at you, your men just growled.

Mikey still looking uncomfortable says "I will need you three to go on small job today. I know you had another date planned but I need you on this. You okay staying home Sweets?" looking at him you smile "yeah that's fine I will lay around the place and annoy everyone" they all chuckle.

Ko called you to join him in his office to discuss more business. Kissing your Trio you walked out with Ko. Mikey looked at them and said "someone has been asking around about Sora" they growl "find out who it is, and why?" they nod and chorus "yes Boss" and leave to investigate this person.

Chatting with Ko when his phone rings he answered "yes, oh that's great, yeah can you send it up and leave it with the guard. That's great thanks" hanging up he looks at you and smiles, you raise a brow he chuckles and says "your card is here" you jump up and hug him, pulling back you ask "what is my alias anyway?" he chuckles and says wait and see.

He gets up and says "wait here, I will go and get it" you nod and look around his office noticing a really posh cat bed, you blink does Grim come down here aswell? How? then Ko come back your attention goes back to you he hands over an envelope, you giggle and open it reading the name you freeze and look at him small tears in your eyes, he smiles happily and hugs you, looking back at the card you see the name

Written, he had claimed you as his sister, the tears continued as you rasp out "thank you Brother. You won't be able to get rid of me now" he chuckles and holds you closer.

The Trio were asking around their territory, trying to find this person asking about the Reapers Favored, not Sora but her known as name, the description was varied although they had managed to narrow it down to a woman in her 50s, foreign looks. They look at each other and seriously hope this person isn't who they think, Sanzu hesitated for a second then phoned Mikey.

When the phone picked up Sanzu said "Boss, it's a foreign woman in her 50s that's all we got so far, we started to worry about it, it would fit the mother?" the silence on the other side unsettled him then a demand "find them and bring them in" the line was cut, grimacing he put his phone away, turned to the others and said "bring her in" they flinch and nod.

You had been going over plans with Ko when your brother walked in you look up and start to smile, but it stops when you see his face. Sighing you ask "okay. What's the problem?" he flinched and says "we had someone asking around about you" you nod and gesture him to continue, he comes and places you on his lap and says "the description fits someone who could be your mother?".

Freezing you let it sink in then say "so what if she is? I already told you if it's a problem kill it" Mikey froze and Ko gasped, Mikey slowly asks "are you sure?" you turn and look at him confused and say "I don't know them Brother, I have never met nor talked to them. Why would I want contact now? I have no feelings one way or another for that person" he twitched sighed and said "I was over thinking it. Do you want to meet them?".

Shaking your head you say "I have you, Ko, Tome, Grim, Cho, Take, Mochi and my Loves, i don't need anyone else. So get rid of the problem, I am dead anyway remember?" he sighs, nods, puts you back on the chair and walks out. Ko looks at you saying "you sure cutie?" you smile a true smile at him and say "very sure Ko, I don't need that sort of problem in my life" he pulls you on to his lap, you giggle and you go over the plans for your ideas.

Mikey arrives at the basement and opens the door, he sees his men and a woman crying while sitting at the table, he walks over making quick eye contact with all three they look at the doorway and Mikey shakes his head they sigh close the door and stand behind their Boss.

Mikey looks at the woman and asks "so who exactly are you and what do you want with the Reapers Favored? They are dead after all" the woman flinches looks at him noticing no emotion in that gaze, she sighed and said "I am her mother, I heard about her death. I had heard she was seen in this area, so I thought to find her" Mikey kept his eyes on the woman and asks "why now? What do you want from her? Because I can tell you for a fact she has no feelings for you at all and never has" the woman flinched.

Taking a breath she said "I needed her help" only to be met with humourless chuckles from the three who brought her in, glaring at them they just smirked at her she twitched frowning. Mikey cleared his throat "so she is now needed so after what 25, 26 years of neglect you need her help. Hum I see now why she said what she did" the woman jerked and looked at him asked "what did she say?" Mikey smiled and said "first when was she born?".

Frowning the woman said "June 11th, why do you want to know?" he replies "shouldn't everyone know and celebrate their birthday, she knew the year but never the date or month" the woman flinched again, Mikey then said "she told me to get rid of the problem" the three behind smiled wide Mikey continued "her idea of solving a problem is to kill it" the woman stiffens and looks into his eyes.

Mikey meets her gaze and states "I will honor my sisters wishes" tears run down the woman's face, Mikey pulls his gun keeps eye contact and shoots her in the head, she slams forward, he says "clean that up, then take your girl on her date" as he leaves the room.
