Ch 82 Death Misses Out ⚠️

Going through the door, the cold breeze rushes over them and the whispers and giggles start up again, they see a few patients milling about some flicker, looking down the corridor they turn to go back down it the way they came in when all eyes are turned to them.

Stilling they look at each other and keep walking down the corridor, crying and screaming becomes louder and looking behind the patients are following, kicking something Rindou looks down and sees a head looking up at him the eyes blinking and the mouth opens a scream leaving it he jumped.

Kicking it away he says shakily "I love her but fuck is her brain scary" Takeomi is looking at the wall following his sight he sighs when he sees eyes looking and blinking at them, bloody writing starts to show, hearing a noise he turns and sees a patient holding his arm out to grab them.

Grabbing Takeomi he starts dragging him away saying "don't get distracted, we have to get out" jerking he looks around and nods they walk quickly seeing bloody footprints walking towards them they swallow, and quicken their pace hearing a sweet voice say "want to play? Beware the nurse" then the footprints fade.

Shivering they see the door, they start to jog then run as the noises get louder from behind, running out of the door they are met by the rest, hands on knees they catch their breath. Rindou stands up and storms up to you pulling you into a kiss then saying "your brain is scary as fuck" to your giggles.

Frowning he asks "where's Ran?" smiling you say "safe building" he winced and nods you ask "food?" they all nod and you pick up Ran on the way. You tell them "there are a few restaurants in this place we will eat in the ones in the safe building, there are more which are haunted" sighing Mochi asks "why haunted restaurants?" you blink and say "this is a haunted experience theme park literally, I have to have a safe building because of health and safety issues. But the whole place is included in the experience".

Kai nods and says "it is clearly stated on the site and all information, that you will have to deal with everything being haunted here" nodding to what he said. Ko asks "will people go for it?" Kai giggles and says "we put it up for prebooking earlier, look at the bookings" handing over his phone Ko stops, stares and blinks asking "seriously? This is nuts" you and Kai laugh walking into to the restaurant area.

Looking around you had tables and chairs in the middle and little stores with open counters all around the outside, every store offered something different, you could even buy from different stores at the same time. They guys laughed and started to browse the selections.

You ran straight to the traditional japanese cuisine, ordering they gave you a number and you went to the next store to order something different, then drinks grabbing a glass and paying you could help yourself to non alcoholic drinks, it was free refills. Your number was displayed on a board in front of the store you went to pick up the food, then you sat at a table big enough for you all.

They had ordered and got their drinks Rindou says "this is a really good idea, because ina group they don't have to try and decide on a restaurant for everyone" nodding they all agree, Ko asked "why free refills on the non alcoholic drinks though?" you smile and answer "if they have another drink, they are more likely to buy a sweet or icecream while they finish the drink".

He pauses and blinks at you then laughs mumbling "I never would of thought of that" Kai says "not being mean, but you only think how to make the most money. While Sora thinks about how to increase footfall, which has the same benefit. It's different ways to the same goal" he jerks then nods smiling at him.

Mikey says "the food choices are good also, filling but the prices and portion sizes are really good to increase buying different choices" you giggle when Ran asks "why no booze?" kissing his cheek you reply "mainly for safety, I can't have drunk people wandering around an experience like this" he thinks then flinched with a nod.

Once finished you go to the waste area, rubbish in the bins and the try in the rack, glass is placed in the glass area you say "I wanted to sell those big plastic cups, so they could take a drink with them, but it was a no no apparently. So I sell plastic bottles" linking your arm with him you ask "Ko what do you think about a gift shop just outside the park?".

He thinks then says "it could work, when is the opening? Do we have time to sort it out?" you smirk and say "we do, I got a shipping container that can be turned into the gift shop" he blinks and says "why did you bother asking me?" Kai says "because we love you" Sanzu adds "and they don't want to face your wrath" turning you both growl at him.

The guys had tried the other 5 floors the difficulty increased as you went up, on floor three they were chased by a maniac, covered in blood and attacked by the patients on that level, there was a safe room but if you stayed to long you were surrounded and couldn't get out.

The only place different was the underground morgue that was the hardest difficulty, they refused the underground morgue and the other side buildings one of which was the maternity wing and the other was children's wing.

Ran had his things moved into one of the few rooms we had made in the safe building, that surprised the guys when I told them, there was only 6 rooms on the top floor it was a just in case solution.

After having another meal together we all split up for the night, going to our respective rooms, to meet at the food court in the morning.
