Ch 65 Death Helps Find A New World

Today is Kai's first day you have Grim with you so he can meet the dog, feeling his aura plus another you grin, a knock then they enter you smile to the man then get up and crouch down looking at the dog you say "hello I am Sora and this is Grim, we will be your new colleagues. Pleasure to meet and work with you".

The dog eyes you both then relaxes and looks up at Kai who nods, they come over for touches and learning scents, Grim meows and climbs on their back you giggle, leaving them to it you ask "so name?" he grins and says "Hades" you blink and laugh saying "Nice, fits in really well here".

Showing him all the paperwork and the businesses you have, also showing procedures, you ask "can you drive?" he jerks but nods smiling you ask "can you take us so we can meet the others?" he seems confused but agrees, noticing his confusion you say "I haven't learnt to drive yet. My men are teaching me" he smiles.

Meeting Kyosoma first, reaching his shop you walk in and see he is in a meeting so you go over the details of what he does, he comes out with a stiff woman, you raise a brow but nod in her direction. Kyosoma comes over and you introduced Kai and Hades to him, you sit and have a small chat when Kyosoma speaks "Sora that woman, she wants to sell a family cemetery".

You jerks and frown saying "any reason and does it have any historical value? Not that I really care about that" he hums and says "her family are descendents of the Emperors" grinning you say "get a price and we will buy it" he laughs and nods. Kai asks "you buy cemeteries? For no reason other than it's Death?" humming you say "I am very good friends with Death, I will buy and or look after anything that represents him".

Kai stares at you and he smiles gently, hugs you saying "understood Boss lady, any disregard or disrespect of Death means theirs right?" you nod, giggle and hug him back, they swap numbers and you move on to Takeshi he was absent minded so you said a quick hello, swapped contacts and then left him to it, leaving the stones details for him also.

You took him and Hades on a quick tour of the Asylum and the Prison he was looking quite shocked at what was achieved, you show the hospital and explain "this is still in the middle of renovation, it's on the back burner until the village is done now" he nods but wears a smile.

Showing the three cemeteries at the first you say "we just found some interesting bits of history in this one so we opened it up with a small contribution fee to get in" he laughs and says "I bet that was Kokonoi's idea?" you laugh and nod, showing the other two saying sadly "Kyosoma is working on these two next, not much man made destruction, but we will get it fixed up" patting your back he consoles you.

Finally the last place for today you pull into the village which has now been split, you walk around with them both explaining what's happening in both areas, there were a few people signing for a shop in the area, the restaurant Boss was there with two other people he sees you and waves, waving back.

He makes his way over and says "these are my friends who brew the Sake and make the pottery" you squeel and say "it's so nice to meet you. Are you interested? I would love to have more traditional and ancient trades and techniques showcased here" they jolt and laugh, shaking your hand they say "we are very interested, it's not often we are invited in usually we have to push and bribe".

Growling you say "if it wasn't for these techniques we wouldn't have the newer ones. Idiots History is important" they stare at you in awe and then laugh the other man says "can we rent? One each side?" you twitch and smile big nodding, "we will sort the contracts for tomorrows meeting is that okay?" they nod you say "try and pick a store, some have been reserved I believe?" they nod and wander off.

Grabbing Kai you take him to find Mira, explaining who the men were he sighs and looks around at all the work going on and the happy faces, finding her you yell out "Mira" she turns and looks waving she finishes the conversation and comes over, you introduce Kai and Hades.

As you stood chatting you heard a scream turning to the sound you laugh, and say "someone was feeling naughty?" the other two turn and laugh with you, one of the builders has hand prints on his back, but no one about who could of done it, Mira says "they also seem happier, its not malicious and they stop if someone is uncomfortable" you laugh and say "as long as everyone is having fun I don't care what they do".

Kai frowns and looks around then asks "Sora, are ghosts real?" you turn to him slowly and look into his eyes and say "yes Kai very real, and just like us" he jerks as his frown deepens saying "they said it wasn't real. They didn't exist" you wince and hold him Mira joining and say "not everyone is lucky enough to interact with them. Now breathe and welcome the new world" he sobs a little and holds you both.

He says "I would talk to people who weren't there for everyone else, they weren't worried at first because kids have imaginary friends, but as I got older they said it was a problem and put me on meds, then I stopped seeing, I saw so much in the forces. I wished I had my friends back, and now I find out it was their problems not mine".

You hold him and rock him singing "welcome to crazy town" he laughs Mira joining in. Finally he looks up, wipes hid tears and says "I will stop taking the meds tomorrow" you look at him and say "only those, take any for your injuries and health" he flinched and nods. Spending a few more hours with Mira and seeing the change in the place.

Arriving back at the office, you hand over the keys for the car driven today and say "this is your company car and this is your company card" handing over a card with the company name on it. He stares and nods giving him another hug you see him and Hades off.
