Ch 52 A Frozen Death (fail) ⚠️

Meeting the other 5 in the rest area, they look at you who is smiling big, then behind to a shaking mess, a spaced out man and a startled pink, they wince when Mikey says "that one was quite an interesting experience Sweets?" you chuckle and turn away mumbling "bad day" to 8 nods.

They were collected and blindfolded, placed on a cart and driven away, sitting on Rans lap, as he calmed down, waving to a staff member you say "could you get some refreshments please. You should make that a freebie or set up a little stand in here to sell refreshments" the member nods and goes to get something.

Looking at the screen, you watch as they are dumped in to a freezer, two are hung on meat hooks, one is placed behind a glass window, the other two are separated to opposite sides a long chain on there wrists, the temperature is already cold.

A voice comes through the speakers "remove the blindfolds, two will stay blind" three obey, looking at their positions and their team mates they flinched Mochi and Mikey were on the hooks, that could move into the processing centre, Takeomi was in a room looking at them through a window, Ko and Cho were chained up. Chuckling at their predicament, hands hold yours.

Attention back to the screen, the voice speaks from the speakers "the man free to move is to direct his team mates to free their hung friends, then themselves, he is not safe either. Save each other or yourselves 1 hour. Good luck I hope you don't freeze to death first" the screen goes black and the sound effects started a timer and the temperature were shown back on the screen.

Looking Cho says "there seems to be a key in the ice, but it is way in there" Ko shouts out I have an ice pick here, could we use that?" Takeomi says "how far about can you move? Can you reach my room or anyone else" they move around just out of reach of each other, but they can make it to the room.

The temperature drops, they all shiver, Mikey says "get him out of the room. He can help move around" as he speaks the hook starts to move slowly, that starts the panic, of the others, doing as he says finding it easy to let him out the key is hung by the door, they stop Cho says "is that to easy?" shrugging they let Takeomi out, a ding then the temperature starts to drop sharply.

Shivering as he moves to the two on the hooks, he realises you can't bring them down with out a key, they are chained to the hooks, he runs his hands through his hair, starts to go through the ice block finding all the keys, passing some to the others, they remove the keys from the ice, shivering, teeth chattering, trying all keys on Mikey and Mochi, he frees them.

The timer starts to move quicker after another ding is heard, they now have 20 mins to get the other two out, they keys they had found don't fit the locks. Shaky hands dont help he shouts "can anyone see anymore keys or clues?" the cold and the ticking of the timer sets nerves on edge, a smell of gas meets them looking up they see smoke coming into the room and the voice says "will you stay to save them or leave? Don't breath too much in" then static.

The panic starts eyes darting around Mochi points and walks quickly towards a vent, the closer he gets the dizzier stopping he says "the keys are hung on the vents, but the closer I get the dizzier I become" Cho shouts "cover your face with something" the temp drops again, so freezing cold and dizzy, with he panic of trying to save their friends the brain turns sluggish.

The timer screams, and the temperature freezes more gas is released, sitting on the floor, they died. Watching from outside you hear the timer scream and the screen blacks out blood flows down the screen, pursing your lips as Ran screams out "what happened?" turning in his lap you say "they failed and died Darling" he freezes, heads turn to you.

Smiling you say "they did a death escape. They die if they fail" jumping off Rand lap you walk off saying "come on. We have to identify the bodies" they pale and run after you. Reaching the morgue you walk in to be met by a police officer and a doctor the police man asks "you the next of kin? I need you to identify them" nodding you follow the doctor into the clinic beside the morgue.

Walking in with a smile at seeing their expressions you shout "how was death?" they glare then sigh Cho says "realistic Hun and scary as fuck" you giggle and give him a hug, hugs and kisses all around, turning to the doctor you ask "any issues or symptoms to look out for?" shaking his head he replies "we warmed them back up and gave some oxygen, they seem to be alot calmer now. A nice meal and a relax they should be fine. I am on call" you nod.

Turning you see your Trio of me sat on the floor mumbling, looking at the doctor you ask "can you give them a quick once over?" while chuckling he snickers checks them and says "they are fine I think the shock got them a bit, just keep an eye on them I will radio the hotel and let them know aswell" patting his shoulder you say "thanks doc" and heard the guys off to the hotel.

Sitting in the cart Ko says "that was quite realistic Cutie. I thought it would be easy because I knew it wasn't real and was safe. My brain said no you are going to die" side hugging him you tell them "alot of the fear from death is the brains reactions to what is happening, trick the brain and you can trick the body" they all shiver and nod with mumbled agreements.
