Braelyn thought that her month back in Mystic Falls had passed peacefully. That was something that made her uncomfortable and a bit suspicious glancing up from her desk filled with papers and contracts the witch glanced at her blonde soul-bonded "Caroline what is going on with Elena and her boyfriends."

She watched as the blonde pulled out her phone and handed it over to Braelyn. The witch read the text slowly before she started laughing "Oh Elion's going to love this". Braelyn wasted no time in calling her cousin as she continued to read the many texts Bonnie had sent Caroline with a grin.

Somewhere in Cuba

Chairs lay in pieces on the ground as Elion took in the scene around him with a bored expression, the broken glass and scattered bodies did nothing but annoy him. Adrienne Was playing with their prey and he would let her once she got the answers he wanted. After all, Bonnie was still recovering from the bracelet's effects.

His eyes narrowed when the man in his pet's hold began to laugh "She is long gone, and you won't be able to find her" Adrienne felt the atmosphere shift and the cocky look in the man's eyes faded away slowly as it was replaced with fear. Elion was no longer playing bored. "Pet I allowed you freedom in your play now it's time for you to get serious".

Adrienne hummed and glanced back at the man who now seemed to understand that the woman wasn't the one in charge, Elion was, and he cared not whether the man died by her hand or due to his orders. This man was the Devil!

Suddenly Elion's phone rang, and the man glanced at the caller ID before turning to Adrienne "I want answers by the time I get back". The man watched in horror as Elion answered the phone and left him alone in the bar with the woman who had single-handedly slaughtered every patron with ease.

"Braelyn are you finally missing your cousin" Elion drawled with a small smirk on his lips when he heard the woman scoff "If I was you would be home already but no, I have news, Bonnie has become a witch for hire" Elion paused and before letting out a small wheeze that evolved into a full-on laugh. "So, I suppose her price is cheaper than yours" Braelyn rolled her eyes and leaned back into her chair "I suppose blood is cheaper than money".

Elion snickered and glanced down the abandoned road his spell still holding firm on the area. "Cuba is not as fun as Mystic Falls right now." Braelyn could hear the annoyance in his voice and sat up "Elion are you alright?"

The man chuckled before glancing at the door where Adrienne exited the bar and smiled "I got a name well Adrianne did so I'm perfect" He didn't say another word before he hung up. His eyes trailed over her blood-covered frame before he kissed his teeth and handed her a new dress. "Get cleaned up then we can go to that club you mentioned."

The siren seemed to light up with joy before agreeing and quickly changing her outfit, Elion may not be her forever, but he treated her well. The magical brand on her right breast seemed to shimmer as she tugged off her jeans and top before slipping into the red sundress if it matched with her wedge heels she did not comment.

She was a siren involved with a Bennett witch and she had agreed to be his pet, the jewellery around her neck proved it. While she knew it wasn't permanent she enjoyed the relationship they currently had. Elion glanced at Adrienne and smiled before offering his arm the two walked through the frozen backroads before entering the silent crowd of people and then Elion's spell dropped the couple melted into the crowds of tourists and natives with everyone none the wiser about the gory scene, they left at the bar nestled in the back roads.

New York

Klaus Mikaelson was not one to be worried about his brother but none of his contacts had heard from Elijah in over two months and the man's paranoia was increasing. His brother's residence was once again the representation of old money and power, but Klaus had long gotten used to his brother's taste.

The rooms were empty and clear of dust Elijah may have compelled a maid to clean ever so often but every room in the penthouse was untouched. Klaus entered the study and looked around before his eyes fell on his brother's computer for once it was open. Klaus quickly went through his brother's history and maps before going through his emails.

Finally, he found one with an attachment opening it he froze multiple photos of a young brunette and Stefan Salvatore smiling together. A few of her with a girl who he could tell was a Bennett and a few more with the girl at several establishments. At the end of the photos was a message "Her name is Elena Gilbert,17, human doppelganger I shall be waiting for you in Mystic Falls."

His brother had gone to find the doppelganger and never came back yet the other emails coming in seemed to say his brother had not even checked his email. Elijah was not one to leave his things unopened. Klaus suddenly felt the need to drop everything and go to Mystic Falls closing the email the need disappeared. Klaus growled layered compulsions usually did not work on originals, but Elijah had been mentally reeling after Klaus had lied to him that would make him susceptible to the magic.

Perhaps it was time to visit Mystic Falls, to see his doppelganger and find out what happened to his brother.

Bonnie groaned and rolled over when her phone went off with another text from Stefan or Elena. Probably their third request for her help, her bedroom door was bolted shut and a pillow over her head. Her father had left a couple of weeks ago and she had gone through the ancient rite with her sister the night prior. Her body was aching, and she had no time for the couple's stupidity. Suddenly she heard banging on her house door letting out another pained groan she rose from her bed and made her way downstairs.

Opening the door she glared at Elena "What do you want Elena?" the brunette stammered a bit before speaking "We need your help." Bonnie stood there in her nightgown and bonnet with red eyes and a dumbfounded expression. Elena smiled at her with an expectant look on her face when Bonnie gave her answer "no". The door was then slammed in her face and was promptly locked before Bonnie made her way back to bed.

Elena however was outside staring at the door in shock before she turned to look at her boyfriend who also seemed shocked. Bonnie had been different lately charging for her spells and scheduling days and hours they could book for said spells, but this was ridiculous. Slowly walking away Elena allowed the tears well up in her eyes and turned to Stefan "Did I do something wrong?"

Stefan wrapped his arms around his girlfriend before glaring at the house he would deal with Bonnie's attitude later.
