elodie zegras, trevor zegras's little sister never felt like she would ever amount to her brothers status. having your brother getting drafted to play professional hockey. she had always felt below him. while he was making big names for himself she was probably cheering at the high school football games or watching her brother play. which is exactly why she wanted to leave new york. to get away just being trevor zegras's sister.
university of oklahoma was not on elodies bingo card for college. everyone was certain she was gonna choose boston university to "follow in her brothers footsteps" but that changed when her best friend, tatum committed to play D1 volleyball for university of oklahoma. when tate suggested she apply she jumped at the opportunity. telling her parents that she didn't want to go to boston was a difficult conversation. but none the less her parents were nothing but supportive of her decision. same with trevor. trevor only wanted what would make his sister happy. she was always supportive of him so he could only relay the same energy.
deciding to pursue her major in sports medicine. elodie also wanting to continue to cheer after highschool and cheer for OU. after officially making the team, she was set. her and her best friend would be attending university of oklahoma together.
but when the anaheim ducks were looking for new interns to help out the athletic trainer during the summer. trevor zegras brought up his little sister elodie zegras. when elodie receives the call from the ducks asking if she would intern she is filled with excitement not believing she is an intern for the anaheim ducks.
