I Don't Know How To Explain This

Matt's P.O.V.

I sat on the stairs at the front of my house. I asked Amy to come so I could tell her. It is going to be hard but I have to tell her.

I saw her car pull up the driveway and I prepared myself for whatever she does. I mean with a temper like hers it wouldn't be surprising if she slapped me or something.

She exited her car and I looked up at her and saw the confused look on her face.

"So...what's up?" She asked while sitting down next to me. I sighed.

"There is something I haven't told you." I said to her as I put my fingers in my hair.

"What is it?" She asked worried.

"When I came to America and started going to school at TARDIS, you thought that I was just a normal teenager from England and you still think it." I said.

"So?"

"When I tell you this please don't get mad at me or anything ok?" I asked her and she nodded.

"I won't." She said.

"I really don't know how to tell you this but I am not who you think I am. My family is very, very wealthy. And my brothers and I are the heirs to the company my family owns." I tell her. "And we have always had some servant telling us what to do or a butler giving us what we wanted and we were sick of it, we wanted to know what it was like to do all of that ourselves. So, when we were able to see our parents again, we asked them to make us normal teenagers. Of coarse they declined so it took a lot of convincing on my part to get what we wanted. Eventually my dad gave in and said that we will travel to America to live a normal life. But it came at a price. I will be 20 years old in three years and my parents said that we could live in America until I turned 20 and they will find spouses for us."

I looked over at Amy and saw her surprised expression. She was speechless, well that's new. It was hard to believe that the great Amy Pond had no words to say.

"M-Matt..." She finally said and I looked down at the ground.

"I'm sorry for not telling you earlier. Like I said, I wanted to be normal." I told her.

"So your?"

"Yeah, I will take over my father's company soon and marry a woman I don't love. It's cliche for us rich people." I told her.

"But you made those movies."

"How do you think the special effects are so good?"

"And you played football-"

"I trained with a professional athlete until I was 14." I told her and sighed. "But that's not all."

"What?"

"The thing about finding wives for my brothers and I? Well it turns out they finished early and we are going back to England at the end of the school year." I tell her and she immediately stood up. I just continued staring at the floor.

"You can't be serious!" She yelled but I didn't move. "They can't just ship you back to England like your some kind of object!"

"That's how my parents see us. Just another way to get more money." I tell her.

"But that's not fair!" She yelled. I saw raindrops splat on the concrete but it wasn't supposed to rain. I looked up and saw that it wasn't raindrops, it was Amy's tears. "They can't do that!"

"I'm sorry Amy but I can't do anything about it." I tell her.

"Yes you can! You convinced them to let you come here you can convince them to let you stay!"

"Amy convincing them to let us come here took a year and a half." I said.

"So! I don't care!"

"Your being unreasonable!" I yelled. Oh great now I'm yelling.

"You don't have to go do you!? You can just disobey orders and stay here!"

"That is just going to make things more complicated okay?"

"Well at least you will still be here!"

"The thing is a private jet will come and pick us up! It's not like we can just stay here and no one would notice that we didn't get on the plane!"

And then Amy hugged me tightly.

"Please...your my best friend." She said. I could feel her tears on my jacket.

I hugged her back.

"I really do wish that there was something I could do." I told her. "But I can't."

"I don't want you to leave."

"Me either." I say. "But we still have until May right? Let's try to make the most of it."

"Yeah."

I'm so sorry for the short chapter. And I think that I may be watching to much anime because that would totally happen in an anime. But at least you know where the Smith Brothers are from. Major plot twist right? RIGHT? I hope this made the story I bit more interesting.
