Chapter 10: Unexpected Company

Catnap padded softly into Tallulah's room, her eyes heavy with sleep. To her surprise, she found Bulltrap, the once-intimidating bull-themed critter, curled up in Tallulah's bed, his massive form taking up most of the space.

"Bulltrap?" Catnap questioned his voice a whisper in the stillness of the room. "What are you doing here?"

Bulltrap blinked sleepily as he roused from his slumber, his eyes meeting Catnap's with a mixture of surprise and defiance.

"Well, somebody has to keep her safe in case monsters come about," Bulltrap replied gruffly, his voice rumbling like distant thunder. "Besides, a big, strong being such as myself can do the job just fine."

Catnap couldn't help but be taken aback by Bulltrap's unexpected presence in Tallulah's room. While she had witnessed his transformation from a bully to a gentle giant, she hadn't expected him to take on the role of protector for Tallulah.

"But Tallulah is perfectly safe here at Playtime Co.," Catnap protested gently, his concern evident in her voice. "We're all here to look out for her, you know."

Bulltrap huffed dismissively, shifting his weight on the bed as he settled back into a more comfortable position. "Maybe so, but that doesn't mean I can't do my part to keep her safe. Besides, I like being around her. She brings out the best in me."

Catnap watched Bulltrap for a moment, her heart touched by the sincerity in his words. Despite his gruff exterior, it was clear that Bulltrap cared deeply for Tallulah and wanted nothing more than to protect her from harm.

"Thank you, Bulltrap," Catnap said softly, his voice filled with gratitude. "I'm sure Tallulah appreciates having you here, even if she doesn't know it yet."

With a nod of acknowledgment, Bulltrap settled back into a peaceful slumber, his presence a silent testament to the bonds of friendship that had formed among the critters of Playtime Co.

As Catnap turned to leave the room, she couldn't help but smile at the sight of Bulltrap and Tallulah, sleeping peacefully side by side. In the safety of Playtime Co., surrounded by friends who cared for her deeply, Tallulah was truly home.
