It was night again, Yoo Joonghyuk sat beside him as he texted Han Sooyoung on his phone. He looked up at Kim Dokja turning his screen towards him.

"The kids miss you." he showed a lengthy text that Han Sooyoung sent to him.

"She must be having the time of her life." Kim Dokja smiled as he read through the text. Yoo Joonghyuk nodded

"I hope she's feeding them," he said his brows furrowed.

Kim Dokja sighed "You should go home, we've been gone too long." he shuffled in his bed so he faced him squarely.

Yoo Joonghyuk averted his gaze to the ground "I can't leave you."

"The kids need you and Han Sooyoung, besides I'm an adult I can take care of myself" Kim Dokja shot back.

The door opened and Lee Seolhwa pranced in with a pleasant grin on her face "Guess what." she pulled up a chair beside Yoo Joonghyuk.

"What happened?" Kim Dokja asked sitting up.

"I think that you can go to the beach, but..." she emphasized the last word her tone becoming serious. "You can only go for about half a day, then straight back to here."

"You can't overexert yourself, so no swimming or running around, and Yoo Joonghyuk you need to closely monitor him he shows any signs of another coughing fit call 112 right away."

Kim Dokja nodded vigorously as he beamed at Yoo Joonghyuk. "You hear that?"

Yoo Joonghyuk didn't share his excitement his face still riddled with concern. "I'm not sure Kim Dokja."

Kim Dokja looked at him crestfallen "Please?" he asked attempting to make his voice sound sweet.

Yoo Joonghyuk couldn't help but smirk "You're not good at this."

Kim Dokja smiled at him slyly as he turned back to Lee Seolhwa "When can we go?" he asked he was already itching to leave.

"How about tomorrow morning, I'll have a nurse come in and help you out."

"Tomorrow morning?" he repeated it was so close but seemed so far away. "Alright." he fell back into his bed.

Kim Dokja wasn't able to sleep, his head rushed with thoughts. If this were his last time at the beach he would have to make the most of it. He turned over in his bed and pulled the sheets over him, he didn't like thinking about "last times."

He attempted to focus on Yoo Joonghyuk's steady breathing but it was futile. He slowly crept out of bed carefully. As he stood up he felt a bit lightheaded the cool hospital air felt nice against his skin. He grabbed his phone from the counter next to Yoo Joonghyuk and switched it on. "Shit!" the screen illuminated the room brightly and he scrambled to turn it down. He breathed a sigh of relief as he slid the brightness all the way down, leaving a dim light coming from his phone.

He quietly got back into his bed pulling the covers over him entirely. His finger hovered over the photos app before he clicked on it. Kim Dokja didn't take many photos but he still had a good collection of memories. Half of them were photos that Han Sooyoung sent him over text.

He scrolled through them a fond feeling washed over his chest. They were clusters of photos that Lee Gilyoung took of bugs when he stole Kim Dokjas's phone. They were all messily taken and you could barely make out the photo.

He scrolled back further he was now a couple of years back in. He paused over a photo that was taken back in high school. It was a group picture of Han Sooyoung, Yoo Joonghyuk and Kim Dokja. It was taken in an empty classroom, the sun outside was already setting. Han Sooyoung was positioned on the right with a toothy grin on her face Yoo Joonghyuk's head was turned towards her it looked like he was saying something to Han Sooyoung with an annoyed expression and in the middle was Kim Dokja. He was in the middle of laughing which made the photo complete.

He decided to send it to Yoo Joonghyuk, he would probably wouldn't see it for a while since he never checks his email.

After a long restless night, the sun finally started to rise. His leg shook apprehensively as he for an appropriate time to wake up Yoo Joonghyuk. After what seemed to be forever the time changed to 7:00. He shook Yoo Joonghyuk awake.

"Yoo Joonghyuk!" he attempted a whisper but it came out a hushed yell.

Yoo Joonghyuk opened his eyes groggily and groaned in discomfort as he reached for his shoulders. "Sleeping in this chair isn't the best."

Kim Dokja pulled him up, Yoo Joonghyuk got up by himself but the thought was there. "When do you think that nurse is coming?" his voice was impatient. Yoo Joonghyuk rested his hand on Kim Dokja's head.

"The beach isn't going anywhere." he walked over to the bathroom and splashed some water on his face.

"Yeah, I know that, I'm also excited to see everyone back home too."

Yoo Joonghyuks expression darkened he paused before he muttered "Are you going to tell them?" Kim Dokja sighed he hadn't given much thought to how he would tell Lee Gilyoung and Shin Yoosung. "No not yet," he said his voice unsure. Yoo Joonghyuk didn't proceed further, they both didn't want to talk about it.

As if on cue they heard a knock on a door and an unfamiliar nurse shuffled in. "You are free to leave, your doctor advised that you should come back to the hospital before 12."

"This is also the cloth that you arrived here in." she handed him a bag with the cloth he was wearing before he had the coughing fit. Kim Dokja accepted it.

He didn't need any further information "Alright, thank you!"

The nurse nodded curtly and walked away.

The pair walked to the car which was parked in the same place where they left it. Yoo Joonghyuk started the car and he glanced over at Kim Dokja.

 "Let's go."
