Lee Gilyoung pressed against Shin Yoosoung as they filtered onto a public bus. The bus driver looked the pair up and down with a grunt. "Bus fee," he said thickly.
Shin Yoosoung reached into her pocket and pulled out some change, she didn't have enough time to count it so she just put all of it in. They walked towards the end of the bus and sat down. "Shin Yoosoung are you sure we should do this?" Lee Gilyoung asked as he watched people pour into the surrounding seats.
Shin Yoosoung swallowed her nervousness "Han Sooyoung was keeping this a secret from us." her voice was still hoarse from crying.
"Do you think Hyung will really..." he choked on the last word. "No." Shin Yoosoung said sharply.
"But we saw the texts between Noona and Yoo Joonghyuk." Shin Yoosung turned away to look away from Lee Gilyoung
"Hyung will be fine, he has to be!" she hid her face from Lee Gilyoung. She was crying again.

The hospital room was painted grey the only sound was the constant tick of the clock, He sat in a chair next to his bed with his head buried next to Kim Dokjas's side. His phone rang, he quickly answered the phone and put it against his ear.
After a moment of silence he could hear Han Sooyoungs voice "I have no idea where they are." she said.
Yoo Joonghyuk clenched his fist "They must be on a bus or something, I'll look here can you come over."
"Yeah, I'll be there in a bit."
Before Yoo Joonghyuk could hang up the call Han Sooyoungs spoke again "It'll be ok." she said softly.
"Pretty words." he thought silently.
A large part of him wanted to believe her though. "I know." he hung up and stood up from his seat. He brushed up Kim Dokjas's hair and kissed him lightly on his forehead. "I'll be back soon."
Yoo Joonghyuk left the hospital and stood outside, the sky was covered by grey clouds and a cold wind blew past him. He walked up to a nearby police officer "Do you know where the nearest bus station is to the hospital?" he asked not caring for manners. The police officer raised an eyebrow
"Mhm yeah, down on ShingShong Street," he answered.
"'Right outside the hospital." Yoo Joonghyuk rushed to the bus stop, it was almost empty except for a middle-aged lady sitting on a bench. Yoo Joonghyuk sat down next to her, and for the first time since he left the hospital room, he let out a breath.
"The bus is late as always." the lady next to him said with a raspy voice. Yoo Joonghyuk glanced at the lady
"What time should it be here?" he asked.
"Around 5:30." Yoo Joonghyuk looked down at his phone "5:34."
Just as he looked up the bus stopped in front of them. Yoo Joonghyuk immediately stood up as he watched people shuffle out of the bus. In between an old man and a young woman, he saw two tiny heads. "Shin Yoosoung, Lee Gilyoung!" He finally got a clear look at the pair, their faces were both tear-stained and scared. He grabbed them from the crowd and pulled them into a tight hug. In that instant Lee Gilyoung started crying "Is Hyung really gonna d-die?" he cried.
Yoo Joonghyuk felt his stomach tie into a knot, and his grip around the two tightened. What could he possibly say? Kim Dokja was these kids' lifeline. Yoo Joonghyuk knew that they loved Kim Dokja more than anything in the world. Could he tell them that the person who took them in was going to die? Their time together was cut too short. Kim Dokja should be there when they both graduate when they start their own families of their own. Kim Dokja should be there for every single little fight that they get in. But now Kim Dokja was lying in a hospital bed with a terminal illness.
"I don't know," he said truthfully.
Shin Yoosoung pulled away from him "Why didn't you tell us!" Shin Yoosoung said angrily as tears pricked her eyes for the 3rd time.
"It was so sudden, Kim Dokja didn't want you guys to worry about him," he said but he knew there was no good reason other than wanting to protect them. Shin Yoosoung knew this too and looked at the ground.
"Can we see him?" she wiped away a tear with her sleeve.
Yoo Joonghyuk nodded and led them back to the hospital. I should call Han Sooyoung he pulled out his phone and dialed her number. In an instant, Han Sooyoung picked up the sound of traffic and muffled her voice.
"There's been a car crash, so I might be late." Han Sooyoung said.
"It's ok, I found the kids." Han Sooyoung was silent for a moment "Put them on the phone really quick." she said lowly.
Yoo Joonghyuk put her on speaker and handed the phone to Lee Gilyoung.
"Hi Noona.." Lee Gilyoung said with a sniff.
"Are you guys ok?" she asked. "Yeah, we're ok." Shin Yoosoung said.
"What were you thinking!" Han Sooyoung shouted her voice piercing through the phone. People walking by them stared at them as her voice rang through the parking lot.
"We're so-"
"Do you have any idea of what could've happened to you, and how scared you made everyone!"
Shin Yoosoung and Lee Gilyoung looked guilty at each other. "We just didn't think you would let us see him." Shin Yoosoung said her voice trembling.
Han Sooyoung sighed "I would chew you put more but given the situation, I'll yell at you later." she said gruffly.
"We're sorry." Lee Gilyoung said meekly.

Kim Dokja woke up with a shot of sharp numbing pain. Something was traveling up to his throat, he knew what was coming. He stumbled out of his bed, the blankets falling down with him. As soon as he reached the bathroom a flash of white pain ran through his body.
