A Forbidden Love

Chapter 10

Yoshitsunes POV

I was munching on some cereal when suddenly I heard a knock on the door. My parents were in another country and I was here alone but of course I had the house maids to help me with responsibilities around the house and my favorite maid Gloria was like a second mother to me. She was a sweet old lady whose husband had passed a couple years back and she was unable to have any children. So I became like a son to her. She has raised me since the day I was born practically. My parents were always too busy to spend time with me. And they were always out of the country.
I was about to get up and get it but I heard Gloria say,"I'll get it son don't worry..." I nodded and sat back down continuing to watch the program I was watching on the flatscreen. I heard the door open and I heard Gloria say,"hello miss.. How can I help you?" I heard a voice that was very sad and small sounding when the girl replied. "I'm looking for Yoshitsune.. Is he here??" I turned the volume all the way down when I instantly recognized the voice. Hinata. I dropped everything in my hands and set the bowl down on the coffee table before it spilled. What in the hell was she doing here? And why does she sound so sad and look like she has been crying. A lot. Her beautiful face should not be allowed to look so sad like she did right now. Who in the hell did this to her. Whenever I find out who did this to her wont be able to see the light of day when I'm threw with him. I walked over to the door and Gloria backed up from the door so that I could see her. I nearly fell to my knees at the sight of her sadness that was plaguing her. "Hinata??.. What are you doing here??" I asked her quietly. And what she did next completely and utterly had me shell shocked.

Hinatas POV

When the door finally opened I expected to see him answer the door but instead it was a sweet old looking lady dressed in a long gray dress with black slip on shoes and her hair was in a tight bun. A few gray strands of her fell in her face. "Hello miss... How can I help you??" I smiled at her gently and said,"I'm looking for Yoshitsune ... is he here??" Before she had a chance to answer someone approached behind her and she looked over to see him coming and opened the door wider so that she could move out of his way. He came to a stop before me and said,"hinata???... What are you doing here??" Without even thinking I ran into him and wrapped my arms tightly around his waist and buried my face in his chest while I began to sob. He wrapped his arms around me while he pulled one arm away from me and closed the door behind him. He put one arm under my knees and carried my off the porch while I clung to him still sobbing and he walked over to a tree and set me down back on my feet. He sat down first and leaned his back against the tree and I sat down next to him and curled up to him as I continued to sob feeling ridiculous for sobbing so much. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into his lap. He brushed my hair back out of my face and tucked the stray locks behind my ear and wiped the tears from my cheeks with his thumbs. He smiled at me and said," can you tell me what's wrong now hinata?" I nodded and sniffed a few times and cleared my throat as I began to tell him what was going on. And why I was so upset. His smile began disappearing slowly until he was drowning angrily when I told him about how I think someone drugged me or something and about my argument with Goyo.
He smiled at me again and put his hand against my cheek. "We need to get you out more often. You and me.. We need to do something right now.. Cmon we need to turn that frown upside down!" He said flashing me a crooked smile that made my heart stop. He took my hand in his and pulled me up to my feet. He was so strong. I felt safe when I was with him. I felt happy. I felt like I was where I belonged. I wondered if he felt the same way.. He began leading me towards kirodayu and he bent down and put his hands in a cupped formation and I was confused at first as to what he was doing but then I realized. "I'm trying to help you onto your horse genious.. It's not rocket science..." He said chuckling.
I stepped onto his hands and swung my other leg over kirodayus back and slid my feet into the saddle. Once I was settled on kirodayu I watched in awe as Yoshitsune went over to his barn he had beside his house and came out with a beautiful horse that was as black as midnight. She had a white diamond on her forehead and her tail and mane were as black as her coat. I let out a sigh in awe at the horses beauty. She was nothing compared to my handsome kirodayu though. A companionship with a horse like him can not be topped or replaced. I watched him get on his horse and felt my mouth go dry. He looked so hot on that horse. Again with the unexplained feelings for him.
As he began galloping towards me on his horse he came to a stop beside me. I reached over and stroked his horses mane and she whinnied happily. She must be a people person I thought with a smile. Yoshitsune was looking at me weird. I raised an eyebrow at him and said,"what??" He looked at me with a look of bewilderment and amazement and said,"nothing it's just that usually midnight doesn't let new people pet her unless she trusts them..." I looked at his horse and smiled. Midnight. "What a pretty name..." He smiled at me and winked,"not as pretty as yours.. Let's go!" He began running off on midnight at full speed and it took me a moment to recover from what he had just said. My heart had began fluttering at his words. And he winked at me... Could that mean??... No it couldn't. I kicked kirodayu and got him running after Yoshitsune and midnight. They were quite a bit ahead of us so we had some catching up to do. And the chase began. All thoughts of sadness and stress was fading as kirodayu carried me farther away from it all.. A break was just what I needed.
At some point once we had caught up to them Yoshitsune and midnight began slowing down. I was confused. We had been riding for only about an hour what the heck. Why stop now? He was already at a walk on midnight and we had come across some place and it was in some kind of forest. It was beautiful. There were flowers of all colors around and there was trees all around us. I heard a stream or something running near by. It was like the enchanted forest or something. It was beautiful. Suddenly I turned and did a 360 and saw Yoshitsune had disappeared. Where is he? Where did he go? Fear gripped at my heart. Suddenly someone jumped onto my horse and my vision went black. Why can't I see?! What's going on?!
