Chapter 35

Hinatas POV

I was floating in and out of conciousness... When I finally started to open my eyes and comeback to reality... I opened my eyes and realized I was laying down.. It was cold and wet too... Where in the hell am I ?? I tried sitting up and when I did I realized my hands were bound with rope and tape over my mouth. I looked down at my feet and saw my ankle had a big metal cuff around it.. I was chained to a wall. I was able to sit up finally after some effort.. And I looked around... It was dark and the floor was wet and cold.. I was in a dungeon cell.. There were some cells on the other sides of me but the were empty.. There were torches lining the walls and I saw in the dim light there were more cells in a line in front of me going along the wall in front of me. They were all empty except for one cell. It had someone in it. It was very dim... And I could barely see to make the person out. It was a person though I knew that. I started fidgeting with the rope on my hands trying to get the rope off but to no avail could I even get them to move an inch. Suddenly a big grated door to my right at the end of the hallway opened and I heard footsteps coming towards me.. I layed down quickly and quietly as I could. I cursed the metal that scraped against the stone floors. So much for quietness. I closed my eyes shut tightly and then I heard more metal scraping.. The person in the cell across from me was doing it... Was that person covering for me??? Why??? The guard banged on the cell door to the one in front of me and yelled at the mystery person and said,"be quiet!!! Now!! I don't know why the emperor wanted your pathetic arse you are lousy and pathetic. You were nothing more than a distraction to kidnap the princess... " the guard walked over to my cell and peeked in. I could feel his eyes taking over me still as a stone figure.. He let out a grunt and walked off. So far so good. He muttered an,"I'll be back for you later ..." and left slamming the big grate door to the dungeon. Fear gripped at my heart when I heard that. I'm royally screwed. I heard something coming from across the cell from me... It sounding like quiet sobbing... I struggled to getup on my knees and I crawled over there and leaned against my cell door. Walls... Whatever you want to call them. I tried fumbling with the tape and when I tried to talk I barely made any sound at all. It was all just muffled. I pulled my wrists up to my mouth and ended up getting rope
Burn from moving my fingers as I desperately pulled back some of the tape. Gasping for air. It was like I had been suffocated. It was awkward sitting there but I had to thank the person who did that for me. Male or female they deserved to know I was grateful. I pressed my back against my cell door and said in a quiet rush,"hey ... I'm thankful for what you did back there for me... I really appreciate it.." Sobs continued to go on. My voice was scratchy and I didn't sound like my normal self. The person then replied keeping their back against the wall in to the left of their door to their cell. "Your welcome.., it was nothing no need to thank me..." The voice replied kindly. It was female... I smiled and said,"so miss why are you crying??" The voice lout out another quiet sob and said,"I have lost everything that ever mattered to me... Well more like taken away from it..." I smiled a sad smile and said,"yeah I know how you feel... I was kidnapped too..." There was a unmistakable gasp that came from the cell in front of me,"what is your name child??" She asked kindly.. I smiled and said,"Hinata miss.. Why?? Why do you ask??" There was a sharp intake of breath and then more sobs. I wasn't sure what to do. But that voice it is so familiar.. I can't figure it out for the life of me..

Yoshitsune POV

I felt incredibly nervous as I continued what I was saying. I had their full attention now.. No denying it.. I gulped lightly and said,"well... You see... I am not who you think I am... I am actually not from here..." The emperor's eyes zeroed in on me like a spotlight. Great. How wonderful. Everyone waited for me to continue. "I am from another country..."
"Where?" The emperor asked calmly ... So calmly It scared me.. His icy cold gaze was locked on mine. I could feel that I was shaking slightly. I was sweating even. This lie that they have known for forever could cost me well... Everything.. I could lose the love of my life. I swallowed tightly and said,"Thaiwan..." There were gasps from all round the room.. I found myself backing up into the wall. Once my back hit the wall I gulped. This isn't going to be good.. The emperors face became contorted with rage slightly and I knew my next atom bomb I would drop would send him over the edge. "What is your status there??" The emperor asked still really calmly.. I then said in my strongest voice I could muster,"I'm the... The prince of Thaiwan... My father is the emperor... The emperor of the country you are at war with.." In a sudden flash the emperor was on his feet in full rage mode. Atom bomb officially dropped and has exploded. Well shiiiiit.. "Guards! Arrest this traitor!" I looked over to see Goyo had pulled Maria and Jasmine completely behind him and was in full defense and protect mode. No wonder he was Hinatas protector. He was merely watching me though. His head cocked in wonder like he was trying to figure me out like I was the most confusing puzzle. And the pieces to my puzzle didn't fit right.. I had created my own puzzle. All because of her. All because of Hinata. Oh my god. Hinata still doesn't even know... The guards came at me once and I tried to fight them off but I just gave up. There was no need to fight a battle I was destined to lose. The guards tackled me to the ground and pinned me down. One of the guards slammed my head against the ground and shouted in my ear,"stay down!!!" The other guards held me down to the ground while one of them cuffed my hands. I looked over at Maria and Jasmine and saw their heart broken stares. I have betrayed them. I looked at Goyo and saw he had gotten out of his crouch and had gathered Maria and Jasmine both in his arms and was leading them up to their rooms. I caught his eye as he went up the stairs and saw him give me a slight nod. What did that mean.. The guards picked me up off the ground and dragged me away. Confused as ever I tried to ponder what that meant.
