Hinatas POV

When the emperor sat down in his throne in front of me he just looked at me for some time.. He finally asked,"child do you even know why you are here??" Do I answer?? Hmm... I could get some answers ... Even if they aren't all true... But then again I have to work with what I have... What choice do I have. Plus I'd rather not be beat again... I shook my head no. He chuckled and said,"you really are clueless aren't you... That explains why my son was so easily able to manipulate you... You are some weak, easily played off, gullible and clueless person..." What did he mean that's why my son was so easily able to manipulate you... Who is his son?? He must have seen my confusion at that question and he said,"my son... You don't know who he is do you???..."

I didn't answer and he got in my face and grabbed my chin roughly. "I said answer me!!" I then said quietly,"no I don't know..." The emperor shook his head disgustedly and said,"you should be punished for your lack of manners... I'll let it slide this one time but I won't the next time... Don't test my patience... My son is someone that is actually very close to you.. And he happens to be I love with you as well.. If that's not hint enough would you like for me to say his name??"

He was manipulating me with every word. Making fun of me.. Mocking me.. I wanted to break down and cry...

He isn't talking about yoshitsune... No he cant be.. He just can't be the son of a monster... His father has done so many bad things... My father even said that he was responsible for the fire that killed my mother...

The emperor was in my face again and said,"what did I tell you about being respectful and replying when you are addressed?!" He was livid.

He reached his hand out and struck me across my cheek so hard I fell over onto my side. Tears were in my eyes from the stinging pain of my cheek and tears were also forming cause I was afraid I had just met Yoshitsune's father..

"No... He's not like you!" I said with sudden strength after using my elbows to push me up again.

The emperor smirked and said,"stupid girl ... Haven't you been able to tell from the start that there was something off about him... That oddness was the fact that he didn't belong... He never fit in... All he ever was was a spy... He spied on your country since he could walk practically and take orders... It's a shame you two got so close.. You know he doesn't actually care about you right??? He was going to kidnap you too you know that right... Oh and He thinks your weak, and pathetic, and moody, and useless... And you know what else??"

If my hands weren't bound I would have covered my ears.. "No!!! You're lying! Shut up!" I screamed.

He spoke over me after he slapped me again and said,"what did I say about manners?! Do you need to be punished to teach you a lesson??! You will listen to me and not speak until you have permission is that understood?" He loosened his grip on my chin and i wrenched it out of his grasp.

I wouldn't give this bastard any respect he is a terrible man and he has done so many terrible things.. He has even taken my mother form me! Why in the hell should I respect him. He must be drunk or something if he thinks he will get respect from me.. He doesn't even deserve any respect at all. None. Zip.

I looked away from him and he said angrily,"you will respect me wether it's forced or not. And my son doesn't even love you. So there. Sorry to burst your bubble princess.. You know why he loves you??..." He walked over to me and whispered in my ear,"because he was only using you.."

I shoved myself away from him. Tears pouring down my cheeks.
"Your a lying bastard! Go burn in hell
Where you belong! I don't believe you!" He was furious after I said that.
"Guards take this pathetic piece of waste away from me and teach "it" a lesson!"
