Hinatas POV
I ran to find Yoshitsune and when I got to the tree I had left him at he was gone. Where is he? Just then someone came up behind me and wrapped their arms around me and kissed my cheek. Yoshitsune. "Hello handsome..." I said playfully while blushing. He chuckled against me and said,"hello beautiful... How are you today..." I smiled and said,"I'm okay..." He smiled into my shoulder and kissed my hair. "Where did you run off to???... I was looking forward to kissing you good morning but you weren't in my arms..." He said Poutily. I chuckled and turned around in his arms. He kept his hands clear of my rib cage afraid to hurt me and put his forehead against the top of my head since I was barely at his shoulders. I was so small compared to him. I stood on my tippy toes and kissed his pouty lips and said,"I'm sorry I had to make some amends..." He raised an eyebrow and said,"with whom???..." I bit my lip nervously and said,"with Goyo..." His grip on me tightened slightly and his jaw clenched. "Oh... Well that's good... So you two are still best friends right???..." I nodded and said,"yes and don't you dare start getting all jealous and possessive on me... He is having a date with Jasmine... Who by the way is my sister..." His eyes widened when I said that. His mind must have been putting everything together. He was realizing why Jasmine had been there with me and holding our mothers hand when she died. And why she had cried so much.. And why she was like attached to Goyo practically. I'm glad those too are getting close. They are like the perfect match. So there is me and Yoshitsune. Goyo and Jasmine. And Maria. I can't wait for Maria to find her special someone. I have a feeling she will find him pretty soon though. And if not soon then at some point eventually. He nodded and said,"that's great... Both... You found your sister and Goyo is having a date..." I couldn't tell which he was happier about. I laughed and explained to him everything about the letter, what happened to Jasmine, the test results, and that my parents had kept this a secret from me and Jasmine. His eyes widened throughout the whole story and once I was through talking he pulled me in for a kiss. Startled and shooken up I asked him with a blush,"what was that for???" He smirked and said,"I couldn't help it while his thumb strokes my bottom lip. My lips quivered and I then said more sadly,"I need to start planning a funeral for my mother... I think we will have it in about six hours. Around evening time...." Just then my stomach grumbles. Yoshitsune chuckled and said,"ok but first we should eat... We can discuss the details over lunch..." I nodded and said,"ok..." He took my hand in his and we walked back towards the makeshift hospital and went to the front of the big tent and saw a buffet was set up with loads of food and people injured or not were sitting at picnic tables that also had been set up and were eating while chatting merrily. I leaned my head against Yoshitsune's arm as we walked to the buffet line. Plates were filled up for us and we were able to get sweet tea and a plate full of food handed to us at the end of the line. Yoshitsune grabbed my plate and his and walked off before I could even argue. I blushed and murmured,"you always seem to surprise me... And never fail..." I grabbed my drink and his and walked over to the table he was sitting at. He had already set the plates down and had our napkins and silverware set out and ready to be used. I set the drinks down on the table in front of our plates and sat down beside him. "Thanks..." I murmured quietly. He kissed my cheek and said,"your welcome.." He continued eating from his plate. He was obviously hungry. I was rather hungry too.. I stared down at my plate and saw that there was brisket with barbecue sauce, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, green beans, and a cup of banana pudding for dessert. I would definitely have to thank the chefs after this feast. I took a couple swigs of sweet tea and at some brisket while I talked to Yoshitsune about what I had planned for my moms funeral. It was very customary for our people to have the deceased family member in a wooden casket with flowers on top in a boat and sent down the river with floating lanterns that would be carried down the river along with the casket. It was like a lighted path way for the soul of the dead person to follow. I would put rose petals all over the casket and my mothers boat would have a beautiful boat. Yoshitsune supported me through all the planning and said he would be there every step of the way. I do not know what I did to get so lucky to have him. He was so sweet and supportive. What more could I possibly ask for. Goyo and Jasmine and Maria joined us at our table and sat on the other side of the table while Maria sat next to me so Goyo and Jasmine would have the bench to themselves. While I told everyone my ideas for the funeral Maria leaned her head on my shoulder and wrapped an arm around my shoulder comfortingly. And under the table Yoshitsune grabbed my hand. Oh. That's right. Goyo still doesn't know. I cleared my throat after everyone had quieted down at our table and said,"for those of you that do not know... There is something I would like to share some news with you guys... One Jasmine and I found out last night that we were sisters and that our parents never told us and lastly...-" I looked over to Yoshitsune proudly and smiled. He smiled back and nodded. He was allowing me to tell them. "- Yoshitsune and I... Are dating..." Yoshitsune smiled and nodded. He reached over and cupped my face and kissed me deeply. Enough to make my head spin and not be able to focus. I looked over at Jasmine and Maria and saw they were grinning and smirking from ear to ear. Causing me to blush deeply. And Goyo looked happy but inside I could tell he was probably upset with me for not telling him till now. But he seemed to brush it off easily. He was genuinely happy for me. I was about to tell everyone about goyos and jasmines date but a look from Goyo told me he wanted me to keep my mouth shut. It's the least I could do. After all he has done so much for me. I'll have to find more ways to repay him. I hate feeling like I owed people. I figured he probably wanted to keep their date a secret. A surprise for my sister. That would be nice. After all she too has had a rough time lately. I stood up and told everyone I had to go and get started on getting moms funeral ready for tonite. I knew I would one day have to plan this but I didn't expect it to come so soon.. Yoshitsune followed after me and squeezed my hand reassuringly. He linked his hand with mine as we walked. I went to the stables and saw him hard at work. He was saddling horses. "Hello Lang.. " I said cheerfully. He smiled and said,"hello your highness what can I do for you today??"
"Can you get me a carriage ready for me??? I need to go into town.. And get some things done.."
"Of course your highness... And by the way.. I heard about your mother... What a shame.. She was such a great lady..." After Lang had said that I felt Yoshitsune tense up to me and his body went rigid. What was his problem I wondered curiously. I looked up at Yoshitsune and saw that he and Lang were staring each other down. Bad history or something I wondered.
"Thanks.. That's very kind of you.." I pulled Yoshitsune along with me and we went and waited outside. As we went and stood by a tree he pushed me up against the tree and caged me in his grasp. "Hinata I need you to promise me something..." He said his eyes locked with mine. I nodded earnestly and put my hands on his chest. "Sure ... Anything..." He cupped one of my heels in his hand while the other remained on the tree. "Please be careful... Don't go anywhere without someone.. Please... I don't want something bad to happen to you... Please promise me.." I nodded rapidly and said,"I promise..." He nodded and sighed. He pressed his forehead against mine and took my hands in his. He kissed each of my hands and wrapped an arm around my shoulders. "Cmon lets go.. I need to get more clothes anyways from my house.. And you have errands to run.." He said smiling. He opened the door to the carriage for me and helped me in. He closed the door and walked off. "Where are you going?" I shouted. He then yelled back,"to get midnight and take her home.," I nodded and told the carriage man to wait until I told him we could go. As soon as Yoshitsune came up beside me in the carriage on midnight I told the carriage man we could go and watched Yoshitsune from out the window following us on midnight. He was still shirtless. I wondered if he realized that. I chuckled to myself and blushed. That is a view I'll never get tired of seeing. As soon as we got to town the carriage and I followed after Yoshitsune. Once we got there he put midnight up and brought me inside. "What are we doing??" I asked him curiously as he carried me inside. He chuckled and said,"we are not doing anything..." He carried me down some hallways to his room and opened the door. He set me down on the bed and said,"you can take a shower if you like.. I'll find you some clothes.." When he left the room I said,"ok then quietly.." I walked into his bathroom and stripped out of my clothes and ran some bath water. I used a wash cloth this time instead of taking a shower. I couldn't get this medical tape stuff wet. After I had bathed and washed my hair I got out of the tub and drained the water. I wrapped myself up in a towel and then there was a knock on the door. "I'm going to go take a shower in the other bathroom okay??.. I laid some clothes on my bed for you.. Sorry if they are a little big... They were the smallest I could find closet to your size." He said. "Thanks!!" I said through the door. I waited till I heard him leave the room and close the door. As soon as he left I ran to his bedroom door and locked it. After I towel dried my hair I looked at the clothes he had laid out for me. It was a little white dress that had a sweet heart top and he laid out some brown little sandals for me. I smiled and quickly put on the clothes and after I was dressed Yoshitsune knocked on the door. "Hey can I come in... Or no???" He asked sounding slightly embarrassed sounding. I chuckled and unlocked his door and opened it. He took in the sight of me and smiled. "I see the dress fits you just perfectly... The shoes aren't too big are they??" I shook my head and said,"no everything fits perfectly.. Where did you get these clothes anyway??" He scratched his head and said,"they are some old clothes of my moms from her closet..." I nodded and said,"oh cool ... They are beautiful.. " he nodded and said,"they look even better on you ... You can keep them ... She has no use for them now.." I raised an eyebrow and said,"where is your mom?? .. She's not ..." I couldn't bring myself to say the word dead. He shook his head no as he continued to rummage through his closet until he found a jean jacket and he slipped it into my shoulders. I smelled it and it smelled exactly like him. "Dead? No... She's just out of country... " I smiled and said,"oh that's cool..." He nodded and slipped on some big sneakers and brushed his hair out with his fingers that was still wet from his shower. He was wearing black lace up sneakers and dark navy blue jeans with a white Tshirt. He loves to wear white shirts. He put on his black leather jacket and said,"ready to go??" I nodded and said,"yeah.." He took me by the hand and led me outside where he helped me into the carriage. He had already put his duffel bag in the carriage apparently before I had even gotten in the shower. He must have been packing clothes while I was in the shower. And then put them in the shower when I was getting out of the shower. He held my hand and pulled me close and said,"you smell good.." I nodded and said,"not so bad yourself sir.." He chuckled and kissed my hair. While we were riding into town I thought of everything I had to get done. So much to do yet I had so little time. After all time flies.
