Chapter 40 part 2

Yoshitsune POV

Just then Derek came and sat down followed by a big reddish brown wolf. He was bigger than the Sandy one but smaller than ky. Derek Sat down on the couch close to Maria but had a foot between them.. Plus she was on the floor petting the white wolf. The big red brown wolf plopped down next to the white one and licked her muzzle a few times.. Ok then those two are mates.. The wolves seemed to have chosen their human they wanted to be with.. And it was funny cause the girl and guys were paired with their wolves being mates and all.. I wiggled my eyebrows playfully at Derek and he shook his head laughing.. I smell a relationship.
Just then Kys voice came into my head through our link and I could fell Raines presence as well. She didn't speak yet though...

Yoshitsune let me introduce my wolves to you..
The big brown red wolf is jake and his mate the Snow White wolf is crystal.
The Sandy wolf is Seth and the grey wolf whom is his mate is skyla. And of course you know raine. All the wolves seem to have chosen their humans to bond and protect. He continued and said Seth and skyla chose the man named Goyo and the woman named Jasmine. Jake chose the one named Derek and crystal chose the woman named Maria.. And I have chosen you.. And my raine she chose hinata when she first saw her..

I nodded and said okay.. Well your pack is welcome to stay with us.. And I'm sure you can live with us back at hinatas castle... She will love you guys..

Just then Derek said,"oh and you will never believe brother.. The two I found in some of fathers cells.."

He gestured towards the two that had entered. The breath was taken away from me. How is this possible... I can't believe what was before my eyes...

Chapter 40 part 2 (now begins)

Yoshitsune POV

There standing before me was two women I thought I would never see again. I got to my feet and slowly walked over to them. I placed a hand on her cheek and tears streamed down my cheek..

"Mom.." I croaked emotion filling my voice.. She had tears in her eyes as she pulled me into her arms and hugged me tightly. She kissed my cheek and released me.. I took her hand in mine and said,"I have missed you so much mom... I'm sorry I couldn't protect you... I tried so hard-"

She cut me off and said,"son.. Don't blame yourself please... Now... Are you going to tell me what in the tarnations is going on??..." She eyed the empress standing beside her and I thought she was a ghost..

I mind linked ky and said to him
Ky is she really here??

Ky barked out laughter and said
Yes.. Why?

Cause she was dead...

Oh...

Ky walked over to the empress and barely nudged her shoulder with his snout and licked her hand.

She's alive alpha..

I mentally facepalmed.. He did not understand my sarcasm..

"Empress??... You're alive??" I asked wearily.
She nodded and said,"yes... I never did die.. It was staged.. I-" she was cut off when a nurse walked over to the waiting room and said,"who here is here for the girl... The princess??.. Hichi is it?"

I clenched my fist and said in a growl,"it is hinata and we are all here for her..." The wolves all growled in agreement..

"Right ... She just got out of surgery.. There is something you should know though-" I ran past her and ky followed me and I told him via mind link:
Ky sniff her out.. Please..

He sniffed the air as we ran and went to an elevator.. She is on the third floor alpha..

Ok .. I pressed the button and ky got on the elevator with me. The elevator made the little ding noises as we kept going over a floor and when we got to three the doors finally opened.

Ky sniffed the air momentarily and started running again.. I followed after him and he led me down a few halls and we made a few turns and then he slowed down to a trot and stopped completely. He sniffed the air and pointed to the door in front of him and said ..

She is in there alpha.. She-

I cut him off and blocked his thoughts. I didn't have time or want to listen to his lectures.. I burst through the door my eyes going straight to her face. She looked so broken it was beyond belief..

I walked in and closed the door and pulled up a chair by her bed and ky managed to open the door with his paws scratching at the handle and walked in growling at me slightly. I had slammed the door in his face. He walked in and plopped himself on the floor in front of hinata at the foot of her bed on the floor. He laid his massive head on his paws and whined slightly. Why was he whining? Had i hurt his nose that bad? Did I hurt him?

I looked back at hinata and my eyes traveled all over her as I took her in before me. She looked so fragile in this big bed. She had the oxygen nubbs in her nose helping her breath and she had at least three tubes in her wrist. Her head was wrapped in a bandage and her forearm was wrapped in a large one. The bruises looking darker on her in the blue light. I was repulsed by the sight of them.. Furious someone had the balls to do that to her. I thought back to my father momentarily and wished ky had done a little more damage.. I looked back at hinata and saw that there were wires tucked under her gown and knew they were the electrolytes monitoring her heart. She had three drips full of liquid going through the Iv's and into her arm through the tubes.. And I was afraid to look at the other bruises and cuts she had.. And the bruising on her ribs.. Speaking of.. I walked over to where ky was and grabbed her chart from the bed.
It had notes scribbled on it about her.
Her name.. Her time she came to the hospital.. The surgery she had from earlier.. My eyes kept scanning down the chart until I found the injuries column.
She had five broken ribs now with extreme bruising on her rib cage on both sides.. She had lots of gashes that were stitched up and bandaged.. She had more bruises on her cheek and on her ankles and wrists from the chains.. I flinched and kept reading down the column.. Shattered right ankle.. More bruising.. More cuts.. More stitches.. And the last word brought tears to my eyes and the nurse from earlier stepped in and she said,"I tried to tell you.."
My beautiful hinata was in a damn coma. My eyes looked over to hinata and I studied her face and a tear or two slipped down my cheeks.. I took her left hand in mine that only had her hospital bracelet and some bruising on her wrist and gently brought my lips to her hand. A few tears fell onto her hand and I whispered to her to where only she could her,"I'm never leaving you again.. I'll be here .. Waiting for you.. Waiting for you to wake up and come back to me.. I have faith you will come back to me.. I'm so sorry.. I was too late.. I love you so much.. I'm so sorry.." I kept repeating I'm sorry over and over again and didn't notice the door had opened. Everyone was in hinatas room now.. Goyo had Jasmine and Maria who were now crying into his chest.. Her mother came to the other side of the bed and sat in the other chair and sat down looking weak and tired. Tears in her eyes.. Derek was leaning against the wall .. He was quiet and he looked like he was being respectful and paying his condolences.. Raine went over to me and put her paws on the bed.. She sat down on her haunches still able to reach hinata and layed her head down by hinatas hand. She licked her hand and whimpered.. She looked at me questioningly and said in our mind link..

Why won't she wake up alpha??

I'm sorry raine but I can't make her wake up..

Why?

I answered out loud and whispered while a tear rolled down my cheek and said ,"because she is in a coma.. And I can't wAke her up.. Only she can wake up when she decides to.. When she decides to come back to us.."

Raine whimpered and licked hinatas hand and looked at her with sad big eyes.

I feel Ya raine .. I wish she would wake up too .. I said via mind link to raine.
