Chapter 12

Hinatas POV
I couldn't even think straight with him this close to me. And his body pressed against mine practically. Having his lips against his ear whispering,"don't you?" I swallowed all reaction my body was having to him and shoved him back a little so I could think straighter. "Well what if you're saying that because you're trying to find an excuse to kiss me??" A wicked grin came upon his face and he said,"you never denied it." I smirked back and said,"neither did you." I watched him with a smirk for a few minutes as his smirk grew wider and his fingers began fumbling with his shirt buttons. What in the hell does he think he's doing. He slid the shirt off his arms smoothly and laid his shirt across one of his shoulders and was walking towards the tree. He laid the shirt on a branch and suddenly disappeared behind the tree. What the hell? I began walking towards the tree hesitantly until suddenly a twig snapped somewhere and I began backing up until I bumped into something. More like someone. I turned around and saw Yoshitsune with a wicked grin on his face and in the next second he grabbed one of my arms and wrapped it around his neck and in the same second he swung his other arm under my knees and scooped me up into his arms. He began running and i clinged to him tightly and I yelled at him. "What do you think you're doing?!" He smirked and said,"teaching you a lesson princess." "On what?!" I yelled. He smirked and said,"how to have fun!" And then he jumped. I screamed as I clung to him as we went into the water with a big huge splash. And instantly I was soaked. I let go of him once we were in the water and began swimming back up to the surface. Once I broke the surface I was gasping for air. "You ass!" I screeched. He chuckled and said,"calm down its just water..." I laughed feeling dumb in the moment for getting mad. He really was genuinely trying to cheer me up. And it was working. Well almost. Not until I did this. Without warning I splashed him directly in the face. He gasped at me startled in the moment and he said,"why you little devil.." And gave me a playful smirk and we began splashing each other until it turned into an all out war. After the war had gone on for a while he finally had raised up his arms at the same time I did and he said,"truce..." I heaved a heavy sigh and said,"yeah... I agree.." We swam towards each other and once we were about a foot apart he closed the distance and pulled me into his arms smiling. I smiled back and allowed him to hold me in the water while I held onto his shoulders. We were staring into each others eyes for a moment... It was if we both wanted the moment to last forever. At some point he pulled me in closer and reached down in the water and pulled my legs around his waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck. I sighed in content as I felt his hands massaging my legs slightly and rubbing my thighs. It felt so good. I should know better than to let a guy be this close to me. He leaned forward hesitantly and his eyes locked with mine. His eyes were asking, "may I??" I in reply began closing the distance between us and he did the same. Once our mouths met it was a sensation indescribable beyond words. His lips were molding themselves around mine. They were sweeter than I imagined in the dream I had the other night. His lips were nipping at mine and it was something I never before thought I would enjoy. His lips tugged on my bottom lip slightly and he went back to nipping at my lips again. His lips slowly made a trail down my neck and back up to my lips once again. I tangled my fingers in his hair as I kissed him this time. Trying to please him the way he pleased me. I nipped at his lips and tugged on his the way he did mine and he pulled away one more time and kissed me lightly on the lips once again. We pressed our foreheads together our breathing ragged. And we held each other tightly not wanting to let the other go. I saw him smile in the dim light and realized it was getting dark. He whispered in my ear and said," you have no idea how long I have wanted to do that..." I nodded in agreement. "Me too..." I whispered breathlessly. He smiled at me and said,"we should get going.. It's getting dark.." I nodded in agreement. He took my hand and led me out of the water and we walked back to the tree and I grabbed kirodayus reigns and walked towards Yoshitsune.. When he turned around he smiled a smile that made me lick my lips and taste the kiss all over again. I watched him slip on his shirt and a water droplet on his neck began rolling down his chest and stopped at his stomach. He began buttoning his shirt again and he slid onto midnight. He gave me a smile and said ready to go? I smiled and nodded. I got onto kirodayu and was about to start moving when suddenly a twig snapped. Kirodayu reared up instantly I fear from the sudden scare and I gripped onto the reigns as tight as I could but my hands were slick and wet. My hands slipped from the reigns and I fell from kirodayu. And instantly when I hit the ground the world went black. But before I went unconscious I heard Yoshitsune scream,"Hinata!!!!"

Yoshitsune's POV

I watched in horror as hinatas horse reared up on its hind legs and then I stared in horror as I watched her fall to the ground. "Hinata!!!!" I screamed. She was lying on the ground not moving and covered in dirt now. Kirodayu running off was forgotten nothing mattered except getting to her.
I jumped off midnight not even bothering to tie her up cause I knew she wouldn't run and instead she would just graze on the grass. I fell to my knees beside her and searched her face for any sign of life. Nothing. Dammit! I bent down and saw that there was a gash on the side of her forehead and blood was running freely from it. I hoped and prayed to God that She hadn't broke her neck from the fall. My fingers probed her neck lightly but her neck seemed fine. But what had me worried sick was that she had no pulse. I put my head against her chest. No heart beat. Her heart had stopped. I fell back on my knees and couldn't believe what was happening before my eyes. This can't be happening.
