Chapter 39

Hinatas POV

When I came to again my mom was sitting on her knees in the cell across from me.. I could tell she had been crying.. It was darker outside and that meant it was night time.. I have been in the clutches of the emperor for two days? Now once tomorrow is here im going on three days.. I must have been out most of the day... I tried sitting up and I had to bite back the screams I was barely holding in... Everything hurt so much.. I was probably purple and blue.. From my head to my toes.. I sat up and leaned against the wall weakly.. There was no tape on my mouth.. I rubbed my chapped lips together and my stomach growled.. I'm so hungry.. And thirsty more than anything... I couldn't help but wonder why the emperor wanted me.. Suddenly a guard walked in to my Cell and undid my chain on my ankle and pulled me to my feet. Once I was up he shoved me forward and I was brought to the throne room from the day before.. Right? That was yesterday?? Ugh... I can't remember ... Everything hurts too bad... Where was Yoshitsune..
The emperor was sitting on his throne and had the sense of a proud aura .. He was gloating at the roles in our current situation.. I the captive.. Him the one on top of the world. He loved it that way and it made me sick to my stomach.. I hope his mother isn't like this... Speaking of where was his mother?

The emperor smirked and said,"finally sleeping beauty decides to wake up??... About time... So would you like to know why I want you so badly to myself..." I didn't answer and remembered my consequences from this mistake yesterday... I'd rather not experience that again..
I bit my lip nervously and said,"why??" He walked towards me and whispered in my ear, "because you my dear are part of a plan... A prophecy... A chance for me to take over and rule all... And I need you for it... And wether you want to be apart of it or not you will be..."

I looked up at him trembling slightly. "What do you want from me??" I would have called him a sick sadistic bastard but I would rather live to see the light of tomorrow morning..

He laughed evily and said,"you... To be in control of you... And to do that all I need is one thing... And then you will belong to me for forever..."

I looked down and said,"what do you need??"

He brought his finger to my chin and was on his knees before me and made me look at him while he grinned and said,"your blood my dear..."

In that moment I felt myself pale about fifty shades... I was totally screwed... He was going to kill me?! No he won't ... Cause then he wouldn't be able
To control me.. He was going to use me to do God knows what..

He grinned evilly and said,"all the fun will start tomorrow my dear... Sleep well... Oh and sweet dreams.. They'll probably be the last good dreams you have..."

He dismissed me with a wave of his hand and the guard yanked me to my feet and dragged me back to my cage. He threw me inside and chained my ankle back up.. The guard walked out with a slam of the door. I pulled my knees up to my chest and started sobbing.. I'm losing control over everything...

No I'm going to lose everything actually... And there is nothing I can do to help it... I'm helpless to stop it all..

I wiped my eyes a few times and pulled it together... I'm sure yoshitsune is on his way here right now... I know he would come for me... Well that is if he even cares about me... He did betray me and everyone... Wait no! No! He isn't going to get me out of this mess... He doesn't care! He betrayed me and he used me!

I sighed and sobbed a few more tears for my broken heart and laid down and tried going to sleep.. I shouldn't waste sleep on grieving over him... I closed my eyes and drifted off to a restless sleep..

The next morning I woke to banging on my cell door.. It was a guard.. "Wake up! Now! The emperor has requested you to see him ... He needs you to do some things for him.."

I gulped and stood up using my energy I had left to get up and watched as the guard unlocked my chain. Once it was unlocked I made a run for the door and slammed it shut locking the guard in the cell. Bastard. I have had enough of him. I was running down the halls that took me to the throne room cause I remembered seeing big grand doors. They were my ticket out of here. I checked the room and looked to see if anyone was here. Nope. Coast clear. I was running for the door and my hand was on the handle and I was about to wrench it open when suddenly I heard someone approach behind me and something hit me over the back of my head and I saw the room swaying.. I was stumbling and fell to the floor. So close... I thought desperately. I barely opened my eyes and saw a pair of shoes approach me at my eye level. Who was it. I tried to look up and see if I could make out a face but then everything went black..

Yoshitsune POV

I was sleeping and was woke up when I felt Ky's warm muzzle poking my face. His voice came into my head and he said

Yoshitsune.. There is trouble.. I can sense it... It's your mate.. She needs you.. Wake up you stupid human. Your mate needs you..

After I heard that thought I was on my feet immediately..

Ky is she okay?! How far from the castle are we?!

My mind wasn't functioning right when I heard that hinata was in trouble..

We are at least an hour or so out from the castle. If we leave alone we could get there faster.. Let the others sleep Yoshitsune.. We need to get to your mate..

I nodded and picked up my bow and arrows from beside me and ran to my horse. I slung the bow over my back and tied the sheath onto the saddle horn quickly. The weapons bag was still packed on my horse. Thank goodness..

Ky can you lead the way.. I can't think straight...

He nodded and said through our mind link..
Of course.. Follow me.. I can get us there as fast as possible.. He charged off in the direction of my fathers castle and we rode their like a bat outta hell. I'm coming hinata! I pleaded.

Ky how much farther are we.. I asked through our link.
We have been riding for nearly an hour..

Calm your horses Yoshitsune.. We are a couple minutes from the castle..

Ky what about the others.. My friends... They are alone.. They won't know how to get to me..

Don't worry Yoshitsune.. I'll contact my pack and tell them to go to your pack and protect them.. Once your pack members wake up my pack will lead them to here.

Ok... But please don't get anyone in your pack hurt because of me please.. It isn't necessary to have more bloodshed than needed. Please ky..

Yoshitsune ... he said growling as we were hurrying to the castle... I am your protector and therefore my pack will protect yours as well.. We have your back.. I have your back.. With our packs working together.. We will be just fine.. I am confident.

I nodded and cut off the mind link. The castle was coming into view.

Once we were along the trees that perimeters the castle I left my horse in the trees hidden.. I grabbed the weapons bag and slung it over my shoulders. I put my sheath over my shoulder and held my bow in hand.

Wait.. Ky said through the mind link.

He went into the forest and next thing I know he is howling...

My father won't think much of it.. He doesn't pay attention to the pests as he calls the animals.. That are part of nature... God my father is a monster..

Ky came walking out of the trees and locked eyes with mine as he replied through the mind link to me..
Let's go get your mate Yoshitsune..

I nodded and said I'm pissed off and ready for round two.. I'm ready to kick some ass.

Ky let out a hearty bark of laughter and said you Yoshitsune have no idea how long I have been waiting for this...

Ky lets go.. I am beyond ready.. I can tell you are too..

We burst through the side door of the castle and we're now on the hunt for my mate.. And my father.. We both have some unfinished business with him..
