"The Past Never Dies" A Shinkami fanfic

Shinsou POV:
Denki wasn't waking up, it has been 2 months since the battle. I want him to wake up so bad, but I can't just snap my fingers and magically wake him up. I fixed his necklace, took forever, but I fixed it, I'll give it to him when he wakes up, if he ever wakes up...
"Shinbae, you in here? We have class in 10 minutes you know," the usually cheerful alien walked in, she was missing her charm, but who wasn't?
"Yeah... I'm coming," I slowly got up, kinda hoping Denks would magically wake up, but he didn't. I walked up to Mina and we made our way to ELA. We met up with the Bakusquad, and continued our way to class.
"Sooo... is Denki awake yet,"
"No,"
"Are you ok?"
"No,"
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"No."
"Alright then let's go to class," said Kirishima with his usual grin, but it was a little less happy..
"Ok," I answered with a tired  expression.
We made our way to papa's class, I walked a little ahead of the rest of the groups, mostly so I could think... Once I got papa's class I walked to my seat and stared at the empty seat next to mine. I wish Denks was here... I wanted to break down and cry, but no. Not in front of the class... that is something I can do on my own in my room.
I could feel Papa's eyes staring down at me. I could hear the class whisper. Something about this whole situation made me wish that it was me, not Denks. Why? Why did it have to be him? Of all people..?
"Shinsou are you with us?" I heard papa call from the front of the class.
"Y-yeah," I answered a little shocked he had called for me.
"Alright then... well who knows how to say 'Ohayo' in english?"
I was tired, so I just looked out the window, and all I could think about was my first time meeting Denki..
"Oi! Eye bags!" Bakugo yelled in my direction.
I stared out the window blankly, not hearing him.
"Shinsou?" Bakugo addressed me by name for once, instead of 'eye bags'. I guess that snapped me back to the class,
"Huh? Sorry, i was just..um thinking."
"Tsk, don't give that bullshit,"
"Bakugou, language," I heard Iida yell from across the classroom.

Denki POV

All I could see was black, it was like I was in a dark endless room, I felt sick. I tried to yell for help, but no one answered. I tried everything, I tried punching, kicking, even slamming myself, but nothing happened. But then I heard a noice, it sounded familiar, it sounded like, Shinsou... 

He sounded like he was crying, and then I heard another voice, which seemed to belong to Mina, I wanted to cry. I saw something glow, a light, oh god, am I dying!? I started panicking, there's so much things I haven't done yet, like become a hero, get married, have kids, or tell shinsou how much I love him...

I started to cry, but then I heard a sound, a person, I didn't know who they were, but I knew what they were saying.
"He's waking up! Get recovery girl," they were shouting.
I realized that they were talking about me! I tried to open my eyes, and I did, I was in room. It had white walls, and a giant light flashing in my eyes. I turned my head, only to see a bunch of nurse run into the room. They started to ask a bunch questions, I was trying to answer all of them, but after I answered one an other came.

I then saw the small recovery girl come in the room, she got the nurses to stop asking questions. She handed me a small glass of water, I tried to grab it but my hand wouldn't move. She saw this and looked at me and then to my hand, she then put down the cup. She turned to the nurses, "get Shinsou," she said, my heart stopped.

I was sitting in the hospital bed, waiting for Shinsou to come was a nightmare. I wanted to hug him, kiss him, and tell him how much I loved and missed him. I heard footsteps, they seemed to come in my direction, I turned my head, there he was, Shinsou was standing in front of me. His eyes changed from a sad glint, to a shine of hope.

He ran to me, giving me a giant hug, a tear fell from his cheek.
"S-Shinsou?" I managed to squeak out.
"Yeah, it's me... I missed you Denks," he said.
"I-I did too."

So cute, we are crying😭😭😭
Sorry it took so long, we had a spring break and couldn't meet up. We hope you enjoy!!!
