𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐕𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐑, lost for a hundred years, he had now returned, though he was a minor, he still held hope for the people. Kya was one of them, he had given her hope that maybe the world would become a better place, that all nations would live in peace and harmony together. He was her hope.
But to Prince Zuko, he was his trophy, his way back into his royal destiny, his only way to win his father's approval once and for all. For years, the prince had been driven by a burning desire to prove himself worthy. And the Avatar was his key.
A group of firebending soldiers ran towards Aang who stood still after defending Sokka. With swift movements, he deflected their attacks, using his staff to ward off the attacks, all the soldiers ended up on the ground, defeated.
Prince Zuko stared up at him, in awe and, (accomplishment? thought Kya.) She could see he was thinking of every possible situation at hands. And as if sensing her stare, he turned towards the gate, where she was hiding behind. Though she was sure he hadn't seen her.
"Can't be." whispered Prince Zuko.
Zuko launches a series of fire blasts at Aang, who defended himself by twirling his staff, dissipating the flames. Zuko once again attacked Aang with rings of flames and fist of fire, the villagers watching directly behind him.
Zuko fired another blast at Aang, who twirls his staff once again to ward the attack off.
"You're the Avatar?You're just a child!" yelled out Zuko.
Aang stood a bit straighter and stared at him weirdly, "Well, you're just a teenager." Kya giggled; she knew that only angered Zuko even more.
But what didn't help, or well kind of helped was the fact that the solider (the kids) had started attacking the firebenders with rocks and the spears. Though Kya was very proud of all of them, now was not the greatest time, since Zuko looked like he was going to kill them all.
