The four made their way back to the platform in mostly silence. Finally, Julia spoke up. "Did you know each other? Before you got here, i mean." She asked. "My dad said yous was from a number of counties and were going off to a private school."

"I knew Jack." Simon spoke up. He was about to tell her all about the school he attended before, but was cut off by Jack.

"The whole Choir was from Leeds up in Yorkshire." He told her.

"Ah, Northerners. No wonder you're so insufferable." She joked.

"Think you're much better? Aren't you from Bath?" He questioned, knowing she wasn't.

"I'm from Taunton ye halfwit." She laughed. She was surprised he actually remembered when she said where she was from. "In any case, I s'pose that's not why. Simon was part of the choir and he's great to be around." The boy in question looked to the girl, smiled faintly, and returned his attention to the path in front of him.

"I'm from London." Ralph told them.

"Is that why you think you're better than everyone?" Jack muttered. Ralph had not heard, though, that was probably for the better.

Julia leaned over to Simon, whispering something to him. He then turned to Ralph. "Was anyone else back at the platform from the school you went to?" Julia leaned over again. "Or your general area?"

"C'mon Julia, I'm sorry. You won't even talk to me?"

She leaned over to Simon again. "She said the flower was nice, but you've gotta apologise to Piggy." She smacked his shoulder. "You've got to apologize to the other boy." He corrected.
