Kira stared blankly at me, waiting for me to make a move. I looked around at my team and noticed that they all glared at Kira enviously.

"What do you think you're playing at?" I barked at the Pokémon Master, "Huh? You looking for a fight? I've been having a pretty good day, so you came to the right place! Bring it on!"

Kira smirked at me and motioned for me to send out my first Pokémon. I looked back at my Charizard, who had no intention of fighting. I grunted in annoyance, and sent out Gengar.

Kira smirked, then looked over at his Charizard. The large Flame Pokémon nodded at its master and produced a massive Earthquake attack that knocked my Gengar out in about five seconds

I sent out Gyarados, thinking there was no way Kira's Charizard would be able to counter it. Naturally, Kira felt the need to proved me wrong by sending a Rock Slide attack down on Gyarados, putting my strongest warrior down in an instant.

Kira decided to show mercy and withdrew his apparently unbeatable Charizard. I relaxed until I saw what he was replacing it with. A Snorlax that shook the floor with each step it took.

I sent out Raichu. I figured that it had enough speed to take Snorlax out without having to take much damage. I was wrong. Before Raichu could even charge up an attack, Snorlax bombarded my Mouse Pokémon with an Earthquake attack.

"You've got to be kidding me!" I roared, "Go, Dragonite!"

I would have felt more sure of myself had I not just lost more than half my team in a matter of three moves. Dragonite prepared a Hyper Beam attack, but Snorlax beat it to the punch with a Blizzard attack. My face tensed up tightly, my teeth gritted to the crown, and my eye twitched vigorously as my Dragon Pokémon fell to its demise.

"You haven't won!" I pointed at Kira, "I've got one last Pokémon! It's refusing to fight, so you can't battle against it. In which case, you can't call this a real victory! We'll have another chance to battle, and I will make sure you don't get the opportunity to land a single hit on my Pokémon."

Kira held his hand up to me, as if to tell me to stop. This infuriated me, and I began to storm toward him.

"Who the hell do you think you are?" I growled, "You can't tell me what to do! You think just because you're a hotshot trainer everyone has to bow at your feet? I'm telling you right now, you are dead wrong! I am my own person and you can't tell me to do anything!"

I was nose to nose with Kira at this point, and the trainer responded to my rant by delivering a hard cross to my right cheek. I fell over and stared up at my assailant in disbelief. Kira stared down at me adamantly, with no remorse for his action. He pulled out a Pokéball and sent out a Hypno.

The next thing I knew, Hypno was crouched over me, staring deep into my eyes swinging a pendulum in front of my face. My eyes got really heavy and I started drifting off. Suddenly, I felt a turbulence in my mind, and everything seemed to come crashing down. I had a terrible falling sensation into what felt like nothing.
