I sat at the bar drinking. Nothing did it for me anymore. My excitement with this world was gone. Ellie was married and barely had time for me anymore especially since Miles absolutely detested our friendship. She was my only friend aside from my cousin whom I'd use the term friend loosely. That and Giovanni who didn't want anyone around him or his newborn daughter. He didn't care for anyone that wasn't Angela or Sammie, who was named after Giovanni's mother. Everyone was married with children and utterly boring leaving me to keep the business from caving in itself. I had no intention of leaving the business not when it was all I had. Since I was young all i've wanted was power. My father had it and passed it to me. I plan on keeping it.

I ran my hand through my hair and I looked up from my glass to order a new one and the bartender, Al was nowhere to be found. But my eyes did land on a something far more visually pleasing than Al. She was beautiful, brown eyes that you couldn't say no to, a bright smile filled with happiness, and her body...I downed the rest of my drink to stop me from eye fucking her. She had on a yellow dress that made her brown skin glow even more. Her hair was in a ponytail that I just wanted to wrap my fist around. Her lips were full and round and all I could picture was them around my-.

"Whose the new girl?" I heard next to me as the seat was taken. I looked over to see Tyler looking at her too with his eyes narrowing.

Hell no.

"None of your business" I said and he smirked

"I guess I'll make it my business" He said "Sweetheart"

She turned her head from one of the other people at the bar and looked down to our end. She came over to Tyler.

"Hi. What can I get you?" She asked him and I couldn't help but stare at her and how she filled out that dress

"Your number if possible." Tyler said to her and she blushed

"I'm on the clock" She said and pointed to the sign that says 'NO FRATERNIZATION ON THE CLOCK'

Tyler smirked and he ran his gaze up and down her body. "What time do you get off?" He asked and I could tell she was uncomfortable under his gaze

"Scotch on the rocks. For both of us" I said and her gaze shifted to me. My jaw clenched and my pants felt tighter instantly. Looking into her eyes was a mistake. An awful one that only made me want to fuck the life out of her.

She bit her lip and nodded. "On it" she said and walked off to make our drinks.

"What the hell man?" Tyler said

"I'm thirsty" I said shaking my empty glass

"She's sexy as fuck. Without even trying. Id break her." He said and I glared at him.

"Leave her alone. She seems inexperienced." I said "I thought you don't like and i quote bad lays"

"I can pass for tonight" He said still staring at her and I don't know why but it pissed me off

She came back and put the drinks in front of us. I nodded at her. I couldn't dare look her in the eyes again. Id hop over the bar if she looked at me like that again.

"Do you have a boyfriend? Is that why my attempts aren't working?" Tyler asked her and she laughed

It was a forced one. "Yes I do. Whom I love" She said and again I don't know why but it pissed me off

"And he lets you work here?" Tyler asked surprisingly

"I don't need his permission" She said and I clenched my jaw taking a sip of my drink.

No woman of mine would be working at some bar getting ogled at by perverted assholes. Id tie her to my bed before ever letting that happen. But hey call me old fashioned.

"You don't like the drink?" She asked and I looked up realizing she was looking at me. Even worse her eyes had nervousness in them.

"Don't mind him. That's his resting face." Tyler added

"It's a drink" I said and her brows furrowed. She looked upset but it was cute. What the hell is wrong with me?

"I'll make a new one" She said grabbing my glass but I grabbed it so my hand wrapped around her smaller one.

"Never take a drink out of my hand" I said holding hers tightly secretly liking the feel of hers in mine

"Noted" She said and I let her hand go. She closed her hand as if still feeling my touch in hers which was insane because I surely still felt her touch in mine.

"Lia Smith!" I heard a woman yell and she turned her head towards the voice breaking eye contact with me. She walked off and went to the girl smiling brightly.

Lia Smith

Her name. I couldn't forget it. I won't forget it because she surely didn't want me but I wanted her.

"She has friends" Tyler said getting up and going to the end of the bar where two other girls sat next to him. Soon I downed my drink and felt someone standing in front of me. I looked up and a glass was placed in front of me.

"It's not just a drink to me. I just got this job and I need it. I need it to be good." She said looking into my eyes. "Don't worry you won't be charged for it"

"Money is of no concern to me Lia." I said and she inaudibly gasped at my use of her name.

I took a sip of the drink as she watched me. I licked my lips, the same way I will after she's come from sitting on my face.

"How was it?" She asked still looking at me inquisitively

"Good" I said and she smiled brightly. I never knew how much a smile could affect me until now. But it soon dropped.

"Wait are you lying to make me feel good?" She asked

"I don't lie nor do I make people feel good, emotionally that is." I said and she looked at me

She blushed at my double meaning and nodded.
"You are?" She asked me

"Cameron Rossi" I said

"Well Cameron you just did. I appreciate your honesty." She said and I loved hearing her say my name

I can't wait until I can fuck it out of her. What the hell was wrong with me?

"Lia!" I heard her annoying friend call her once again causing us to break eye contact. She walked off and I watched the whole way.

I shook my head. I refuse to obsess. I cannot obsess. She cannot be the object of my desires. I'll ruin her. That or she'll ruin me.
