"What do you mean by that?" I asked her standing up then towering over her

"I shouldn't be okay with men like you coming into my life and just taking over." She said grabbing her dress that I got washed while she was sleep and putting it on underneath the t-shirt and then sliding the t-shirt over her head. It pissed me off that she didn't want me to see her body.

"I'm not taking over. I'm taking care of you. I'm taking care of what's mine." I said

"Again. What. I am a person Cameron. I'm not a dog." She said

"I never said that love. Don't piss me off." I said and she grabbed her heels and put them on.

"Where are you going?" I asked her

"I have work soon and I need to go home." She said

"You're not wearing any underwear" I said

"I'll be fine." She said walking out but I stopped her. I found an old hoodie in my closet and gave it to her.

"Put this on" I said and found some sweatpants that would for sure be big on her but it's better than the dress. One gust of wind and I'll have to kill everyone in sight.

"Cameron" she groaned

"Put it on or you don't go anywhere. Your choice even though I favor the second one. That one keeps you in my bed with my head between your legs" I said and she blushed grabbing the sweatpants after she put on the hoodie.

I rolled my eyes. "You chose wrong." I said to her crossing my arms.

"The second option would end with you inside of me." She said and I smirked

"Still not seeing the problem." I said and she tried to fix the sweatpants because they were so big on her. I bent down to tie the strings tightly on her and I looked up at her to see her sniffing my sweater on her. I smiled at how her eyes closed and she relaxed into my scent. She opened her eyes and saw me staring at her and looked embarrassed. I stood up straight and kissed her on her lips. I didn't need to know anything about her to know that she wasn't going anywhere.

She pulled away from me. "What was that for?" she asked

"Because I wanted to." I said and grabbed her hand. We walked downstairs and I had her behind me.

Tyler came into the hallway and looked at me. He didn't dare look at Lia. He knew I'd kill him.

"Going somewhere?" He asked me and I nodded

"I'll be back." I said

"Ellie stopped by earlier." He said and I was shocked that Miles even let her.

"Miles?" I asked him and he nodded

"He waited in the car. I told her you were busy." Tyler said and I nodded. I'll get back to her later.

We walked out the house and Lia was quiet. I helped her into my car and buckled her seatbelt. I got in the drivers seat and I felt her eyes on me.

"Who's Ellie?" She asked me

"A friend" I said starting the car

"Your whole body stiffened when he said her name. She's a friend?" She asked

"She means nothing to me. Romantically. Not anymore." I said

"Did you sleep with her?" Lia asked

"No" I said looking at her and she looked out the window

"Do you love her?" She asked

I made her look at me grabbing her chin.
"She means nothing to me. Not how you do." I said and she stared into my eyes.

She nodded. "Okay" She said smiling softly

I kissed her on her lips softly. She closed her eyes and I pulled away.

"You are the only woman I want and need. You are mine not her." I said and she nodded

"Okay" She said and I drove off to her house.

I sat at the bar waiting for her to get her shift over with and to speak to Al. He came out his office and looked at me.

"Mr. Rossi. How can I help you?" He asked

"I need you to fire Lia." I said

"She's my best worker." He said and I tilted my head to the side

"This bar hasn't been empty since she's worked here. You're not fooling anyone Al. They are coming here to stare and flirt with her. She is probably the best worker you'll ever have here but you won't get much business after I kill everyone in here." I said and he nodded
"It was your idea."

He nodded and walked off. I watched her smile at patrons and it pissed me off. Her smile was for me only. She never smiled at me like that. I got up and watched Al pull her aside. If I was a good guy I'd feel bad but good thing I'm not. Lia rushed from behind the bar and went into the bathroom.

"Lia" I called behind her and rushed to the door but it was closed. I heard her sniffling.

"I'll be right out" she said and I groaned. I'm not a good guy but her tears killed me. I went over to Al.

"Rehire her. I'll get her out of here another way. I should kick your ass for making her cry" I said to him and he looked at me confused "Go Al. Now!"

He went to the bathroom door as I followed him. "Hey Lia, come to find out we don't have to make the budget cut after all. I'm sorry for the stress. Please work with us."

Soon the door opened and she looked at both of us and her eyes were red but she smiled at Al.

"Thank you Al." She hugged him and I pulled her away from him

"I'm sure he gets it love" I said pissed

"Sorry" She said to Al

"Surely for all the distress you caused her she can go home early. Isn't that right Al?" I asked him and he nodded

"Yeah Lia. Sorry about that. Go home. I'll close up" He said and she nodded

"Thanks Al." She said and he walked off

She smiled at me and hugged me tightly resting her head on my chest. Okay maybe I do feel bad.
