Chapter 12

We made it to her place and I parked my car.

"What are you doing?" She asked

"I'm going upstairs with you. What else?" I asked

"Cat hates you Cameron. She won't want you around the apartment" She said

"That's not really up to her is it" I said getting out the car. She got out quickly and I grabbed her door.

"You don't open doors. I do. Got it?" I asked her and she sighed and nodded

"I'm capable of opening a door Cameron." She said

"Not while I have hands" I said grabbing her arm and closing the door pulling her to her apartment.

"Wait. I should tell her you're coming" She said and I groaned

"We could avoid all this and you could sleep in my bed. Where we don't have to be quiet about what we're doing." I said

"Cat thinks I haven't done things. I want to keep it that way." She said walking up the steps and I followed her.

"I frankly don't care that she knows that I've felt you wrapped around my fingers or tasted you with my own tongue." I said and she blushed looking back at me.

"Please Cameron" She turned around to me as we made it to her apartment door. I heard music and people talking on the other side of the door.

"What do I get out of keeping your dirty secret?" I asked her smirking and she sighed

"Whatever you want" She said

"Careful love. That's a dangerous statement for a man that wants everything you can offer." I said and she shook her head

"Okay fine. An I owe you. Okay. You can use it whenever" She said and I nodded

"Deal" I said

She opened the door and we saw Cat on the couch with two guys sitting at the table and another girl sitting at the table with them.

"Lia!" Cat yelled getting up and rushing to the door to see me and her frown deepened.

"Did this asshole follow you home?" Cat said

"This asshole can make you disappear" I said

"Cameron!" Lia said to me and I sighed

"Nice to see you too Cat." I said

"He's staying the night with me." Lia said and I walked into the apartment to see the two guys whispering to each other.

"Guys this is Cameron. Cameron that's Brandon and Alex. That's my other roommate, Bree." Lia said and they nodded

"Lia how's the new job?" Brandon asked. He stared at her with puppy dog eyes. Now I think I'm more of a cat person.

Lia pulled out a chair and made me sit in it at the table next to hers.

"It's alright. It was actually weird. My boss kind of fired me today and then he rehired me." Lia said with a frown on her face "I just want to do this right you know"

"Yea I get it" Brandon said nodding and I wanted to throw up. The guy was ridiculous.

"You smoke?" Alex asked me lighting a cigarette

"Yes but not in an apartment. Second hand smoke can bother Lia. Take it outside" I said glaring at him and I felt her hand grab mine.

"Sure know how to pick em Lia as usual" Alex said getting up and going on the balcony in the living-room.
