Princess Leia's POV:
Emberfall Castle:I smile out at the crowd of strangers as I make my way down the aisle.
My mother was at home in labor and thus could not attend.
My father stayed with her.
My other siblings never grew to adulthood.
I swallow the lump in my throat trying not to think about the deep weariness I feel, leaving my home to be in the company of strangers. I stare at my soon to be husband. His green eyes stare at me intently, never wavering in eye contact as he takes me in. He smiles and I give a small one in return.
It's alright Leia.
Your ladies will be here soon enough.
They'd been delayed as their coach broke down.
The happiest day of my life, and I was truly alone.
I turn to face across King Shane.
The crowd is full of happy murmurs .
The Ceremonial Lord stands before us both, clearing his throat.
The room becomes quiet.
"It is with great joy that I bear witness to the union between King Shane, Ruler and Lord of Silvercrest and Princess Leia of House Evera."
"In the presence of all before us, I pledge myself to you, King Shane, Ruler and Lord of Silvercrest as my husband and lord. I vow to be faithful and honest to you and be the best Queen I can."
"In the presence of all before us, I King Shane, Ruler and Lord of Silvercrest pledge myself to you Princess Leia of House Evera. I vow to protect and honor you for as long as we shall reign." King Shane says
King Shane's POV:I walk down the hall, Princess Leia's hand in mine.
The celebrations had been quite joyous.
Once it had concluded, Princess Leia returned to her chambers with her ladies to change her dress into something not as elaborate. We would then spend the next few hours in the palace gardens, talking about the future ahead, and what would be expected of us not just from the public but of one another. As the night continues on, I see Princess Leia's mood change from happy but overwhelmed to nervous and fidgety. The knight posted to my chambers bows his head before opening the door.
We walk inside, allowing the door to close behind us.
"May I speak freely, husband?" Queen Leia asks
She shifts nervously balancing her weight from foot to foot, rocking slightly.
Her fingers fidget with her gold bracelet.
"Of course, darling." I say stepping forward, taking her hands in mine
"I am of course, a maiden. I know we are to bring about an heir. I greatly wish not to disappoint you." She begins
It seems she has more to say but she looks down, face flushed.
I place my hand under her chin, tilting her head up.
Her eyes stare into mine.
"Fret not my beautiful bride. There is no rush to conceive. Let it be a night of passion between us. If luck should be brought upon us, I will be joyful, of course but as said, it is not to be expected by me, at least not on our first night sharing a bed." I explain softly, trying to put her at ease.
She give me a small smile, looking relieved.
"I am grateful to hear you say this."
I lean forward, my lips pressing against hers.
"We can go slow. Our intimate life needn't be in haste." I say
We embrace again, my hands moving from her waist, up her back. I pay attention to her breathing, making certain she is comfortable. I begin untying the lace tied to keep her dress up. As it loosens, the dress falls down off her shoulders, stopping at her hip line. Her breasts are firm and soft. I begin fiddling with her nipple, resulting in a gasp escaping her lips. I unbutton my shirt as she steps out of her dress, bare before me. She has a thin but curvy frame, milky- white skin. I step close to her, pressing her lips to mine. Each step along the way is taken slowly and gently, as I make my way inside her, rocking slowly. She moans, her hands gripping my shoulders. Moans are heard through the halls as the night of passion only gets stronger.
