Queen Celeste's POV:

Standing in a black lace dress, I stand in the warmth of the sun, making my way down the large rolling hills. At either side behind me were two knights, marching me to my demise. I did not know how I would be executed as Lord Miles was tight lipped about that topic. I feel a wave of calmness in my panic as I hear the birds chirp and sing above me in the trees. Scanning around, I look for answers as to what my future holds.

Then I see it and my heart sinks.

A large steel box with a front door.

I make my way over just as a loud rumbling screech erupts from above me.

I look up to see Xythos, flying through the sky.

My heart sinks even further when I see King Shane atop him.

They dive down, landing carefully to the left of the steel box.

I step forward, eyes locked upon Shane's green eyes.

"I, King Shane, Ruler of Silvercrest find you, Celeste, guilty on the charges of adultery with Navarro, conspiring to conceive the bastard Adam. Navarro was found guilty and was executed immediately upon his confession."

His expression is cold, his tone heartless.

I inhale, trying to calm my racing heart.

"Have you anything to say as your last words?"

I glare back at him, nothing but hate filling my veins.

"Know that today you execute an innocent woman and have damned your own kin."

Without another word, I hold my head high, climbing up onto the podium and making my way inside the tight box. King Shane signals to the executioner who stands beside me. The executioner nods, grabbing a torch and walking over to a man who holds another. He places them together until the other stick catches flame, now walking over to me.

My heart hammers away so fast I feel it will explode.

Setting the torch by my feet, I scream as the flame catches on my dress, traveling quickly upwards. I scream as the fire burns through my dress, making contact with my skin. I vouch as the smoke fills my lungs, feeling more pain than I'd ever experienced as I continue to burn.

Then everything fades away.
