"Mommy don't leave me..." I yelled out. "Please..."! She just looked at me without saying anything. She looked like something was worrying her but she wouldn't say it. She kept packing and with every little thing she packed, I could feel her drifting apart from me.

She is my mother, isn't she supposed to stay with me to help me grow up and protect me. I didn't understand why she was leaving, I just knew she was. How could she just leave me here all alone?

My father had died two years ago and I was never allowed to see the body. They didn't even have a funeral for him! I never fully accepted the idea that my father had died. It might've been the fact that I never saw the body, so I didn't believ he was really gone.

Now, here was my mom packing all her stuff. She finished packing and was heading towards the door. With every step I felt tears threatening to form in my eyes. I couldn't even move. I was so shocked that my own mother would leave me to fend for myself. Im only 10 year old! She couldn't possibly think that I woul survive by myself?

She opened the door and I could feel my heart pounding harder than ever. I didn't want her to leave. I wanted to stop her, but how? I couldn't get my legs to move no matter how hard I tried then I looked down and I realized what was holding me down. My legs were tied to the bed! How did this happen?

I tried to get myself loose but the ropes were tied too tight. Then I heard the door open and noticed that she was about to walk out. I began to panic and started pulling on the ropes with all my strength. I finally got loose and I ran toward the door but as I walked outside I realized my mom was gone. Her car was there and our house was surrounded by forest, so it's not like she could just walk off. There was no houses or anything for atleast 20 miles. How could she manage to carry all of her stuff and get so far without a car?

"Aaaooooooooo" I heard a howl come from my right and I turned to look but was afraid of what I saw. I saw a huge black wolf glaring right at me. The wolf looked like it could eat me whole! Just as I thought that I saw that the wolf was comeing at me. Oh gosh, he IS going to eat me whole!

I knew I couldn't out run a wolf and if I tried to hide, it would just break through the door and search for me. I tried to think of what to do but I knew I wouldn't survive and then I realized I had nothing to live for. My mom had abandoned me and my dad was dead! Why was I going to try to postpone the inevitable? I mean, even if I survived this, I am sure that I wouldn't be able to live on my own. I was only a kid!

I closed my eyes and waited for my death. I waited...and waited, but there was nothing. I opened my eyes and saw another wolf trying to fight the off the one who was trying to kill me. I felt a bit of relief that the wolf was being taking cared of, but then I realized that maybe the wolves were fighting over who was going to have me for dinner!

This was bad but atleast I had time to try to escape. I grabbed the car keys and immediately started the engine. I don't exactly know how to drive but I had seen plenty of movies. I'm sure it can't be that hard. The engine roared to life and I pressed the gas pedal. I started driving and noticed I was doing pretty good.(Atleast I thought I was.)

Suddenly there was a huge bang on the back of the car. I looked in the rearview mirror and saw that it was the wolf from before. It was following me! I tried to drive faster but the wolf was really fast; it was catching up quickly.

Just then, I felt something else hit the car. I looked at the mirror again and there were both wolves fighting again. I was so distracted looking at them that I failed to notice the gargantuan tree ahead of me. I pressed the brake but it was too late. The car crashed straight into the tree and I was being jerked forward by an invisible force.

I banged my head pretty hard on the wheel and my legs appeared to be broken...or atleast fractured. I tried to get out but it was useless! I was loseing too much blood, which I had no clue where exactly it was comeing from. My eyelids started getting heavy and soon enough, my vision went black. Was I dead?

I didn't know and honestly, I didn't care. I was all alone. I had no one. Nobody was going to suffer at all when they got news that I was dead. My father was dead, it's not like he could come out of his grave and make me a funeral...like the one he never had. My mom had ABANDONED me and practically left me to die! At these realizations, I began to feel hopeless and decided to let the darkness take me away. I was slowly fading away.
