Chapter Seven

Jake changed back to human form. I was still in shock of seeing him turn into a giant wolf. You don't see these kinds of things everyday.

"What did you think?" Jake asked.

"About what? Your little strip show? Or you turning into a wolf?" Oh my gosh! I can't believe I just said that!

"Both." He replied with a smirk.

I didn't know what to say, so I said the first thing that popped into my head. "You are gorgeous." FML! Did I seriously say that? What is wrong with me?

I felt two arms wrap around my waist. I began to feel butterflies in my stomach. Why does he do this to me? 

"Because I love you." He said answering my thought. Why can he read my mind and I can't read his? That is totally NOT fair!

He leaned in and gave me a quick peck on the cheek. That's it? He got me all stirred up for this? Just a little peck! On the cheek! Did he not understand what I was feeling right now? Of course not! I don't evn understand what I'm feeling right now.

"How about we go to a more private place?" He winked at me and then started leading me somewhere deep into the woods.

We arrived at a beautiful house in what seemed like hours. Then as we walked in, he started pulling me in closer. Next thing you know we were in a deep make-out session. That was until we got interrupted by a noise that was coming from upstairs.

We walked up the stairs quietly. I used my wonderful ninja skills! Once we got up there, he lead the way towards a room. As he opened the door, some blonde chick jumped on him and attempted to kiss him. Who the hell did this fool think she was?

"I've missed you babe." She purred in his ear. That's just disgusting! It made me want to puke! She's such a slut! Wait...I just realized something! Jake hasn't pushed her away! Why hasn't MY Jake pushed that blonde whore away?

Anger and pain began to show on my face. How could he do this? After I've told him that I love him! He's my mate! He's suppose to be MINE!

What happened next scared the shizzles out of me! Jake turned around and his eyes weren't the chocolate brown that they alway are, instead they were red! How did his eyes turn red? Did he get high off of weed or something? No...that's a stupid though! He was with me the whole time! How could he have gotten high? So why were his eyes red then?

"Suprise...suprise...Lisa is it?" Jake asked...maybe it wasn't Jake. How was that possible though?

I just turned away an tried not to be intimidated by this...thing that appeared to be possessing Jake. If that's even possible.

"You made it so easy for us to find you."he said.

That statement alone confused me even more! Who did he mean by 'they'? Why had they been looking for me? And how did I make it easy or them to find me? "What are you talking about?" I asked.

"Well, your mother tried to hide you. That's why she left you, so she could protect you. But then...you found your mate..."

"What does that have to do with you finding me?"

"Once you accept your mate, your wolf scent becomes strong even if you haven't had your first shift yet."

So basically when I accepted Jake into my life as my mate, I turned myself in? What were these crazy people going to do to me anyways? Wait..did he mention my mom a couple of seconds ago? He said that she left to protect me. That that's why she left me. So she DIDN'T abandon me! But if she was trying to protect me, then where was she?

My thoughts were cut off by someone kicking the door open. She looks familiar...Oh my...can it be? I examine the figure a little longer then I know for sure that it is her! My mom! But how? How did she know where I was? How did she know that I was in trouble-ish? So many thoughts were running through my head. Before I could let anymore thoughts flow to my brain, I quickly ran to my mom and hugged her like my life depended on it.
