Chapter Fifteen

Lisa's POV

As the door opened, I became shocked by the figure that stood before me. It was Jake! MY Jake! But how? Who did the voices that I hear belong to?

I brought my thoughts to a hault and ran into my mate's arms. All I could think of was him! I had missed him A LOT! I held on tight to him, as if my life depended on it. I never wanted to let go. Tears began to fill my eyes. I wasn't sure if they were of happiness or something else. All I knew was that I was with Jake, my mate.

Jake's POV

She stood there looking shock for a couple of seconds until she finally lept into my arms. I have to admit that it was the best feeling ever. She grasped on to me tightly, and I liked that. I liked that she was so close to me and that I could have her in my arms once again.

I had to fight off lots of unmated wolves that wanted to mate with her. She was going through the heat, so obviously every unmated wolf would want to mark her. The heat also indicated that her birthday was nearing. This gave me very little time to complete the mating process with my mate.

"Jake! Oh Jake! Is it really you?"

"Yes, baby, it's me! It's really me! No one will ever separate us again!" I promised to her. It was a promise that I was going to keep...even if it costed me my life.

"I Love you Jake."

"I love you too Lisa."

With that said she leaned in and kissed me with so much passion...it seemed so right. She is my one and only. I dream of the day when I can mark her as mine completely.

Our beautiful kiss was interrupted by a voice.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" I didn't have to turn around to know who that voice belonged to.

I could tell that Lisa began to tense up when she saw Mindy. I held her tighter as a sign that I was there for her. I would not let Mindy hurt her. I now knew the truth and I had to keep my mate safe.

"So..what brings you by here Jake?"

I refuse to answer her question. She knows perfectly well that I came for my mate and that I intend to leave with her.

"Oh no...you can't just take my grandaughter from me!"

"Since when have you cared about Lisa?" I asked irritated.

"Since...always."

"Liar! You just don't want to lose your stupid powers! That's all."

"Well, you won't be able to leave!"

Lisa appeared to be frightened at the thought and I just couldn't cope with the thought of my mate hurting. I held her tighter in my arms and kissed her forehead. I needed to think of a way out. NOW!!

Mindy's POV

I saw them in each others arms. This is what I was trying to stop. I wanted to keep them away from each other! At least until Lisa's birthday! I can't and WON'T allow them to mate and take my powers! I must stop them! But how? Think Mindy! Think! I think I have an Idea.

Hey....I'm sorry that I took so long. I was busy and stuff. Sorry it's short but I need to come I need to come up with some stuff to write about. I have some stuff but they are for later on in the story. Please help me out. Message me some ideas for the next chapter so it can be a longer chapter. Also, please VOTE and COMMENT.
