Hey everyone, I would love to thank all of you who have been patient with me. I would also like to say that it's been hard for me to make longer chapters because I'm updating from my ipod. It's a bit hard to type a whole chapter in on a tiny little thing, especially because it gives me horrible headaches. I'm going to start writing the next chapters in my notebook first so that I can make sure they are long enough and then I'll type them in to update. I hope you all can understand. I will also try to add more details to make things less confusing. Thank you all for your support and I hope you all enjoy.

(This chapter is written in Lisa's POV only. I am taking advice and focusing on one character. )

Lisa's POV

After a lot of begging, my grandmother allowed me to see my parents. I walked towards the room where she kept my parents hostage and as soon as I walked in she closed the door and locked it. "Mom? Dad?" I yelled out into the darkness.

"Over here baby." I heard my father's voice calling out to me. A voice that I had just come to know but seemed to be familiar with. I walked toward him trying not to run into anything since it was pitch black in the room. Why was it so dark?

"I turned the lights off in here so your grandmother wouldn't recognize me." She said as she lit up the room a bit.

"What do you mean?" I asked confused.

"Well, honey, I'm your mom. Not your dad. Your grandma put us in separate rooms and she didn't want you to talk to me. That's why she put you in here. This is the room she put your father in." Great! Now I was even more confused! What did she mean with all of this? If this was the room that my dad was put in, then what was she doing here? And why did was she in my father's body? Where is my father now? I began to panic a bit.

"Sweety, calm down. Your father is fine. He is in my room."

"But how?" So many questions were running through my mind.

"Well, I used a spell to switch bodies with your father so I could talk to you." Wow, just when I thought things couldn't get any stranger.

"So why are you scared that my grandmother will recognize you? How could she anyways?"

"Since she's a witch, she knows some tricks. Like when people switch bodies, because their eyes look different."

"Oh." That's all I could say. I was practically speechless. How did my life change so much so quickly? Just a few days ago I didn't even have parents. One of them was dead and the other had abandoned me. Now I suddenly have both-oh and an evil grandmother?! This is way too much to take in!

"Lisa, we don't have much time. Your birthday is tomorrow and you HAVE to mate with Jake." Oh my! I can't believe this! Talk about awkward. My mother is telling me to do the nasty with a boy I just met. I know that there is a connection between us but I'm not sure if I'm ready to be with him in that way. I don't know if I can give myself to him completely considering I just met him.

"Honey, he's your mate. You are destined to spend the rest of your lives together."

"That doesn't change anything!" I wasn't about to give myself away to a stranger. I can't deny that I have strong feelings for him even though I just met him, but I'm just not ready. I began to cry in desperation. What am I suppose to do?

"Baby, this is the only way. Once you are mated, your grandma won't be able to do anything to you. You'll have powers that you have never imagined."

"But...what if I don't want all these powers? What if I want to be normal?"

"It's a little too late for that sweetie. This is your destiny. Your future! And you must fight for it!"
